Oh, very well. Wings can't be so bad, and it seems as though the plants are friendly enough. The people as well - do we really get a party? Warmest welcome I've had anywhere in a long time. I'll have to show them a few steps.

If you can find the time, I wouldn't mind stopping by for a while. But only if you can find the time. Wife of the headmaster, remember? The old man might pester you, but no one will take your studies more seriously than I will.

I hope that you will consider this decision carefully, and I will respect whatever your choice is. I want to be with Helios, more than anything, but alternatives exist. We can find another way. And we can find one that lets us both be happy together and have a bit of fun. I'm sure he remembers what it is, or he will once I'm there to remind him.

Look, mun. I agree that it'll suck if

milliways_bar doesn't get moved. And I can't fault your motivations for not going back to LiveJournal. But you need to move on. You can't just sit around moping while you wait. Find another game to play in, or a community to participate in, or--here's a thought--get off the damn computer and go do something else. Draw something. Clean your room. Go for a walk. Something.

You know, it really is kind of like what would happen if they ever made a movie about us back home. Actually, this is more accurate then anything they would throw together at home, since I'm pretty sure they'd invent some crazy backstory and new identity for me and Bruce, on top of the characterization issues. I still don't really know what they were going for with that. If they wanted to stick me in the franchise, they could have at least have made me act like me. And picked an actor who actually looks like me.

Although if we're really being serious? I don't think I'd want to watch a movie that was actually accurate. The comic books are freaky enough as is, I don't need to actually watch some of it over again in high definition with surround sound.

And by the way, if Jim never lets me live this down? This is your fault.

There's something kind of wrong about making someone choose between themselves and an older version of themselves. It's almost like some weird sense of seniority I should be following like at a job or school or something except with... myself.

... Okay, I've never had to ever consider how I would handle this. I mean, beyond speculating what we would do if we met with ourselves from a parallel universe. And that was all talk about whether we would have goatees or not, nothing about older versions of ourselves and whether we would let them go to some game or go ourselves.
