Are you certain that you wish to proceed in this direction? I would remind you you do not know the original source beyond what you have viewed, and it would be prudent to at least take care of that before applying to bring me anywhere. I realize the source is long, but it will provide more details, certainly and make our experience, should we have it, a much stronger one.

Beyond this, I am uncertain that attending this game with your french revolutionary and his friends is the best course of events. I do not know you well, but I can hardly imagine that this is going to go over well. Perhaps I speak too much of my revolution when I worry about this, but I bring up the possibility of my blood ties, renounced though they are, causing problems again.

Beyond that, there are my Lucies. To leave them at a time like ours and go to some strange ship sailing through space itself? To the back of a giant turtle? To another of the realities you have been investigating for me? What's to happen to them if I am gone? And the matter of the death I cheat by being here? What of it, and Sidney? He loves her too, and it is my wish he care for her if I am not there, but for Lucie's sake, I highly doubt he would leave well enough alone and place himself in danger he does not need to should something go badly for me in one of these places, or should I not return.
