Mundanes will obsess over everything. Including lives others might deem boring. I find that if a mundane is involved, however, those who catch their interest are far from boring.

[Max is, for a nine year old, small. Not undersized, simply short and slight. His ink black hair is bleached in places from the desert sun, though his skin is still very pale. His clothes are clean but scuffed at the knees and elbows, boots - and yes, those a boots, like miniature military boots - are scuffed at the toes and heels. She might not recognize it as a phone, but he has a clamshell style child's cell phone in his pocket, a swiss army knife in the other, and there is a BB chain around his neck, although whatever is hanging from it is hidden by his shirt. His English is accented with fading German, and growing Israeli.]

If that's true, why does she want you?
