I appreciate that you're giving me a chance for a happier life, even I like the books you're shopping around to agents. The better PB, and that nice picture you had drawn. You're being real nice.

But I don't have my man, and I need him. If not him, you got others lined up, but no, you got me with one devil child, and a different child on the way. I'ma have two kids and no Daddies anywhere in the picture! What game you playing? Everyone is going to call me a THOT and I'm going to end up on talk TV at this rate.

Stop it with this time BS too. Just let me be a normal century girl living in a normal century. 21st might be best. And give my babies a family that isn't full of nut baskets. (Fix my English too!)

Got me to thinking, yah know? Maybe I ain't cut out to be one thing or t'other. Maybe I'm always meant to be fallin' apart and being someone new every day. I was already changing my name to suit my new attitude before the atomic accident! Maybe I aughta stop thinking so black and white all the time...

[He smacks his hands together with a 'paff', scattering sand about until it forms a small collection of independent little figures, duking it out around his feet, split into two groups- his heroic and villainous associates.]

It ain't like I ever saw eye to eye with either side entirely- Sable, The Thing, the Avengers, heck, even Spidey on a good day... Or the Sinister Six, the Frightful Four or any of the other crooks I've run with for that matter!

[With a huff, he stomps on the whole assembly of miniature cops and robbers, reabsorbing the sand.]

I guess what I'm thinking is, good and bad ain't really so solid as all that. Maybe what I do from here is make up my mind on the spot, instead of deciding 'good' and trying to be perfect, or picking bad and trying to be a monster.

[A thoughtful pause, in which he scratches at his chin.]

I was gonna be an artist, yah know. All them years ago. Maybe I'll give it another shot.
