That's really not that different from what I do. What I did before. Though, to be fair, our kind of roleplaying was far more expansive... and involved... and meant to defraud people who deserve it, but that's beside the point...

My point is, you're worrying about this more than you should be. So just... relax, take a deep breath, straighten yourself out and let me talk. It's not that hard.

Just- just look at half these places, they don't even got computers, let alone an internet connection. Probably have to walk halfway to Mordor if I want to get myself a damn soda, too, just look at all the crap everyone in these games has to put up with, man. What'd I even do to you to make you wanna do anything like this?

...No, just because half the people out there are from video games doesn't make it worth it. I wanna see them, I can pull up a computer chair and get it going somewhere I'm not gonna get shot in the head, or get a sword in the chest, or someone hitting me with some damn poison, or nothing like that. Oh don't you start with it too. Look, some people might be a little Scrooge-y about the whole thing but I happen to like Christmas, and I could easily have found something for $50, thank you!

And that was where my idea came from - trust. What we all gave was a gift, something more than what you can buy, and it was wonderful. Magical, and that's what Christmas is. If you can't believe in magic for one bloody day of the year then when can you?

But you don't believe that, and don't you even try and deny it I can read you like... a book's too cliché, but think of that sentiment, that's what you are, and there's no point in trying to hide it now. Maybe we can do something about that by the end of the holiday, hmm?
