Balder wants his mun to step away from her weird ideas
Please cease writing these "AUs" at once. I do not scheme. 'Tis true, no one would ever expect me to scheme, but 'tis because I do not scheme. I know you know this, for my userinfo contains a proclamation about how I never lie.
If you are getting bored please do something we would both enjoy. Perhaps allow me to pick up and throw Loki out of Asgard again, if only to prove that I trust him a lot less farther than I can throw him.

*And Skuld'll shut up now because yeah, Norn shouldn't really interfere right.*

[This is said flatly and without any smugness since he was driven pretty far for it to come to that.]
I believe there are many who would enjoy it if they could have the privilege. Fenrir seems a bit heavy to toss.

I'm sure your brother and Tyr could do it with a joint effort. But would not want to test it. Not without a muzzle twice as strong as he has now. Just to be on the safe side. *Hey her worst nightmares involve the wolf's jaws. She won't be taking chances EVER*

I would count on them to lift anything, and they're quite effective at muzzling as well. But I do not believe we have reason to tug Fenrir's tail at this time.
no subject
No, it's not time yet. That much I still see clearly. It's a long way off.

I should hope so, considering it only just occurred. But did Thor not end the endless cycle?

Not in the timeline I'm from. We might be different set points or realities. I know that happens more than I would like. Key points changed... My visions say it's still at least a year from now.

I've been able to stall some events a while. Urd had left to help... That was ninety years ago. Twenty years later, Verthandi left, falling for a mortal, then disappearing altogether. I left home fifty years ago to hunt for them. Have yet to return home.
Though I have run into Loki and Thor both. Neither know my visions are fading... I wish them not to. I would lose my rank in the Valkarie if they knew my powers were weaker.

Not knowing your situation and world, I can hardly offer advice except to lay your hopes with Thor. And I wish you luck in your efforts.

It wouldn't be so bad if he remembered I only look like a child. *Okay and act like it most of the time to fool the mortals, but really! Being stuck with a 'babysitter' by someone you saw grow up from a baby is kind of embarrassing!*

Perhaps he is only teasing?

Having conversation.
Surely you'd prefer your mortal's mischief over mine?

[He sighs. She could probably think of something.] Some day you shall meet yourself here. Will you find that amusing or aggravating?
no subject
[Where he's from, you're not dead - well, not yet.]
It would depend on the circumstances, Bright One. Shall it be a mirror of who I was? A copy of what the Midgardian tales tell of me? Perhaps it will be a shadow of my previous incarnation. What think you of that?
no subject
I have seen a few, all different. I wondered more if you would see them as your fellows or as a challenge.
no subject
[You should have learned by now, Balder. Obviously you never learn.]
You're very lively, for a dead man.
no subject
[No, he really doesn't.]
I have been hunting. It keeps me busy.

[That was so typical an answer Loki thinks he must have ate something to have expected something different. No one ever changes.]
Youth never stays, you know. Hold out your hopes for a child as well as you could, Balder - given the time, and knowing this twisted world we belong to, it won't be for long that young remains young, despite the body that keeps it.
no subject
[Hey, he changed that one time he died. But these things don't always take.]
Perhaps. But I could no better pry that child from Thor's arms than pry the sun out of the sky.
no subject
[Bitter? Well, when was he not, save for the few times that the Norns thought him useful? It gets tiring to be who he is - catalyst of chaos, and yet constantly held to the threads of fate. Free for as long as destiny allows; that boy will learn, one way or another, the pain of Thor's mark on his soul.]
Pray tell, what does Balder hunt in these here parts?
no subject
Demons. Perhaps not challenging, but useful.
no subject
Suppose you that must have been entertaining, at least? It seems a waste of time, really.
