[ Rolling wolf-bright eyes, she rests her forehead against his temple and conveys the shade to coat them like lovers' blankets. Secure, so he doesn't have to worry. ]

[Pitch leans into that touch, closing his eyes to only exhale heavily. His arms loop loosely around her waist now, tugging her just a bit closer to himself, lips grazing her ear.]

Yes, of course. My apologies yet again.

[ Whispering by his cheek, she keeps him safe in her arms. ]

There, now. Things will work out just fine.

[He nods, leaning even more into her embrace as he relaxes more. This was something he never ever did. Made him feel vulnerable almost, but with the shadows around them, and with her presence, he did feel safe.]

Sounds good to me.

[ Humming an old lullaby, she combs through his hair and holds on. ]

[This was a side he didn't expect to see of her. He leans instinctively into those threading fingers, letting a pleased hum rumble in his throat. He opens his eyes again.]
