kstarrOkay, yes, you're diving back into the hobby. I've got myself a nice cushy journal and stuff. And yes, new friends would be great- and I mean that in both the "actual other people for you to interact with" way and "other people for you to play besides me" way because while I do love my slasher flicks, I do not want to end up in one of those survival horror games that seem to be all the rage these days. Not without a minimizer bra and all the hair dye. I know my tropes.
And yes, Marvel finally has its crap together with some artists who know how to draw appealing clothing and costumes that AND have a grasp on how fabric interacts with the female body, which would be awesome for icons (let's hear it for that McKelvie-Anka-Wada trifecta of goddamn fashion sense). (Yeah, yeah, I know, glass houses. Let's not talk costumes too much here, Peej.)
Buuuut, back to my point. You can't really afford to keep up with Marvel beyond that $10 Unlimited digital subscription. Unless you find a nice place to settle in where everyone else is doing the same thing, you're the only comic-'verse player, or there's some other arrangement where you get to stay six months behind while somehow avoiding spoilers, that's just not gonna be fair to the rest of the other nerds.
Or maybe I'm just biased because I want you to find me some other non-new-52 types to hang out with. Well, I mean, I'm not gonna be mean to nu52 muses or anything. Well, I have some questions for Clark he might consider rude but...
