"What?" It took her a moment to remember who that named belonged to.

"Darth Vader is this boy's..." Rey trailed off.

"Luke Skywalker?!" It was very hard to finish a sentence right now.

...I knew him as Anakin. [In a way, he denies Darth Vader. He is not his padawan.] How do you know of him?

"From stories. I thought they were just legends, until I ran into Han Solo."

I have not heard of him, but I can assure you Anakin's story - Luke's story - is not a legend.

"Yes, he is. He along with Han Solo and Leia Organa. Something has happened that our paths have crossed, but I am from his future."

Leia...Organa. [Of course, of course.] My name is Obi-Wan and I do not take the safety of Luke lightly.

"Luke's sister." Rey confirmed for him.

"You're Obi-Wan Kenobi?!" This day is just getting weirder and weirder.

Rey's expression changed from shock to realization very quickly.

"Because of what becomes of Dart- Anakin?" After all, he was his teacher.

In part. [He wants to keep Darth Vader far, far away.] My focus is on Luke. I won't endanger him.

"No. You won't." It's very tempting to tell him everything she's heard, but with how many years have passed she can't be certain that everything she has heard is true.

"I must be dreaming, because our meeting would not be possible otherwise."

I am led to believe the physics of this world are...altered. Anything is possible - including this meeting.

[He smiles comfortingly.] What should I call you?

"Then I am not sure this world is safe enough to be talking about things such as this."

Still, his smile does bring one of her own onto her face.

"Rey." She didn't give him a last name, because right now was not the time to be giving him that big of a name drop. Still, it was possible he may sense it. Just as she sensed something within Kylo Ren.

Risks must be taken to garner precious information and we are alone as far as I can tell.
