Brilliant observation, John. Gotten rusty while I've been away have you? Of course, you weren't all that great to begin with, always seeing but forgetting to observe.
[Sherlock, still is bad at this.]
{{OOC: Feel free to punch him, he deserves it :/}}
I'm surprised you don't know I'm alive. He must have kept it to himself; though I can't blame him, considering his brother would be extremely displeased.
[ she sobers. ]
Someone died on that rooftop. But it wasn't Sherlock Holmes.
Yeah, he seems to be keeping a lot to himself recently.
[He pauses at that last comment, eyes on her for a moment before looking around. He raises a brow slightly before speaking up again, louder this time.]
If he's dead then why have I seen him around this place? ...Right. I forgot that could happen around here.
[He sighs a little before taking a few deep breaths. Calm, John. Calm.]
...But I guess if I can forgive you for not telling me you were alive for two years I can forgive you for that too. Forgetting it is a different matter.
...I knew you weren't going to take this well. [It's the reason she made herself scarce around Baker Street after the initial mourning period. She could keep a secret, but she hated being around John and Mrs. Hudson and not being able to allay their grief.]
You're right. You've had a worse go of it. But just because I knew he was alive after the hospital doesn't mean he kept in touch. It wasn't like he was sending me "Wish you were here" postcards. The minute he left London, he could've been dead and I wouldn't have known.
[Although saying that Mrs Hudson and Lestrade had been pretty happy to see him when he came back. They didn't hold on to any anger they might of had for long. Even Mary likes him. He quietens down a little as Molly continues to talk and when she's done he sighs, nodding his head]
Sorry Molly I know. I'm just...frustrated with him. [He does laugh a little at that] I guess that means everything is back to normal.
[She nods.] I know. It...really wasn't fair of him to think he could just pick up where he left off. And you have every right to be mad, but...well, try and look on the bright side a little?
The minute he got back, you were the first one he went to see. First on his mind.
Hitting you all those times was not dramatic. In fact I think it was a pretty normal reaction under the circumstances.
Anything out of me? You know I probably would have said those things eventually Sherlock.
[Probably. Maybe...yeah, probably not quite so soon. It definitely would have taken quite some time. But he's said them now and that's what matters right? He forgives you.]
Well, Mary thought you were being a bit dramatic. [Hey, look who's on Sherlock's side. Sorry, John.]
I didn't want to keep waiting, though, did I? I need you back with me on the cases, John. Having Molly for one day actually went rather well, but it wasn't the same.

Eventually he does say some though because...well, the staring. He sighs]
Can you blame me? What I said to you in the train carriage still stands Sherlock but I just wish you hadn't made me think I was going to die.

I could have just as easily died when I jumped from Bart's, so now you know what I felt as I was falling.
[And since they didn't really explain it, the writer is sticking with the headcanon that was developed two years ago.]
this is a voicetest so please excuse the rusty voice
So that's what it was then? You were trying to make me feel how you felt or was it just a joke?
[John shakes his head, raising a hand] You know what, don't tell. It doesn't matter now. We're both alive.
No worries! I need to figure out how the new background info should affect how I play him :|

Yes, I have my own Mr Holmes I need to figure out too...
I have a Mycroft as well - the two of them are arguing in my head now ...
The two Holmes brothers arguing in your head, poor you!
Thanks, it has its benefits - sometimes, just not right now.

This might be horribly AU if we get more info about his 2 years away.
AU/Headcanon is always a-ok with me anyway!

I'm just playing with this, if I'm pushing it too far, let me know!
This is great, I'm loving it!
Oh? Good to know XD
I'm terrible I love to see muses suffer or get embarrassed or feel uncomfortable in any way XD
*Frowns* You LIKE Moffatt's stories, don't you :P (I'm expecting several character deaths next week)
Noooo.... *shifty eyes* (Yeah me too *SOBS*)

Is anyone I though dead actually dead? Next thing Moriarty is going to pop up and that's all I need...

[ three years? two and a half? give or take. ]
Apparently that's not something to be alarmed about. It's much worse if you end up somewhere with him.

That stunt on the train. Was that really necessary? I mean really, Sherlock

Of course not.
What it was is funny. Humor is rarely necessary.
