I applaud your enthusiasm, truly. I look forward to meeting all sorts of new people, despite the difficulties that would most likely entail in this business; I am well aware of the various ventures we muses are thrown into, and I cannot say that I am afraid.

The experience will be good for the both of us, and as you have desired in the past, it will be a return to your roots.

The offer of your assignation, Dearest Patron, has intrigued me. What you suggest is far removed from the usual tastes of my patronage, but the idea is refreshing to me. I have decided that I shall accept your bid for my services. I do warn you, I do not come cheaply...but I suspect that you already know this.

I have prepared the contract, with the limitations--which are few--and my signale. I do hope that you are not simply 'hunting hyacinths,' for it is highly unlikely that you shall find any. Even so, I suspect that we shall both enjoy the endeavor.

The Wise, is it? Well, that is better nickname than villain...

... but it is not fair that I will not know that. Why, if you have your way, it will be at the end of the second book or the start of the third. I say otherwise. I know that I have no desire or want no part in ruling, but you could at least allow me that knowledge as well. It is perhaps a hard learned lesson, but one worthy of learning.
