I turned away from Him for Elua- your petty mortal antics matter nothing in my eyes. If you dare to separate us, you will feel my displeasure as keenly as the edge of my blade.

I know that will not stop you in whatever foolish course you insist upon devising, but I thought it just to warn you.

Can anyone predict what dangers may lie before them? We have seen danger in our time, and coming to a softer land than those we have traveled does not eliminate it.

But there is no specific threat to Elua or his children that troubles you. Is there?

He was derelict in his duties to His grandchild. I took up the task that He let fall- if He punishes me for that...
