I really didn't intend to do this yet but he gets to me
Well, it figures you couldn't resist me! I'm really not surprised, my dear. I am so incredibly charming, after all, and you've seen more than enough, don't you worry.
You're welcome.
Now let's go have a look around! Can't sit around here all day. Unless sitting means watching more of me, I could put up with that. Not yet, you say? All right-y then, I will see you later. Or you could come along, if you'll make less of a fuss that way. Stop wasting time! We've got people to meet, I hear!
[ That's a call for all of you friends who are bound to be lurking out there to come forward, for the record. ]

Now's an as good time as any.
no subject
[She might be a little bossy, oops.]
One time I thought about asking you, well - older you, if yetis were real. Never got around to it, he distracted me with what was supposed to be a trip to Las Vegas. He overshot the landing just a bit, and we ended up underwater in 1983. Not a good year, let's not give it a second go.
no subject
[ He pulls ahead in front of her, bending down to look straight into her eyes. ]
Yetis are real.
no subject
[Because really, she knows he'd do it.]
no subject
I've seen them! Twice. They were in the London Underground the second time around. And I suppose, technically they're robots and not living creatures, but that's the best you'll get.
no subject
[Sigh. ]
Suppose it's better that way, in the end. No chance of random yeti attacks whenever I visit the Himalayas someday.
no subject
[ Chances are UNIT's kept one around. ]
no subject
A grin overtakes her face, and she eagerly nods.]
You, me, and an inactive yeti. Sounds like your idea of a date, Doctor.
[Oh look over there, it's the TARDIS Or something she's going to trot on ahead and get arguing with the
grumpylovely blue box out of the way now.]no subject
So is the interior that he gently nudges her into. And back into his pocket goes the key as he walks over to the console and closes the doors again. Then he turns around to face her, hands in his pockets. ]
Welcome to my TARDIS.
[ Since no doubt it looks at least a little different than it does when she's from. New incarnations tend to want renewal. ]
no subject
The second he nudges her inside, she takes off at a merry prance, excited to see the famili -
Wait.
Nothing here is familiar at all. Frowning in concern, her eyes go wide as she looks all around. But hey, if the Doctor can regenerate, so can a TARDIS, she figures. And with that thought in mind, she glances over at the Doctor with a nervous chuckle and a slight smile and launches into motion.
She trails around the outskirts of the console room, fingers touching at the white walls. She darts over to the console, peering at how very different it is than what she's used to.]
It's so...white. I'm used to blue. Blue and silver. Lots of blue. But white is good too, it's just so...well, white.
[Oh look, a button! She has a perfectly innocent look on her face as she moves to press it curiously.]
no subject
[ He surges forward and slaps her hand away, shaking his finger in her face. ]
Hands. Off. The console.
no subject
Older you lets me press buttons.
[Under direct supervision where he's literally standing pressed up behind her, but still.]
no subject
I highly doubt it.
no subject
[So not amused. Arms crossing over her chest now.]
no subject
[ He gestures at the console with his hand, flaps it about a bit. So recklessly like that; he wouldn't allow it. Ever. Doesn't want something exploding.
But anyway, he has a UNIT HQ to get to, so he moves to get the TARDIS dematerialised. ]
no subject
[Eyebrows waggle, and she laughs as she bounds away to take up looking on the other side of the console. They're in the process of getting where they need to go, so she lets the Doctor do his thing as she looks around the console room further. She prances her way over to peek down the hallway that usually leads off to places like the swimming pool or the library, but doesn't leave the Doctor's sight.]

Coordinates are set and they're on their way. This will take a little while, and hopefully it goes smoother than it often tends to. No interferences. Then he finally seems to come out of it and looks over at Clara. ]
What does my future have in there, then?
no subject
[Clara avoids talking about his future or anything in it at all with a very simple answer that isn't a lie because things is a perfectly valid response. She gently presses a hand to the wall of the TARDIS, leaving it there for a moment. It's hard to believe that this is really the same thing she and the Doctor travel in so far in this Doctor's future. It's an almost dizzying thought, so she's a bit more sober and calm as she makes her way back over to stand at his side.]
Anything and everything could be in there, you'll just have to wait and see.
no subject
Fine. But tell me one thing; how old am I when you travel with me?
[ How long does he have to wait. ]
no subject
You've got to be over a thousand. A few hundred years past that, maybe.
[It'll be a while, Doctor, sorry.]
It's so weird, thinking of things like that. I'm only almost twenty-five. Used to be, the year 2013 was it for me. I was born, I lived, and 2013 was as far as I could go. Now I can go as far forward as the end of the Earth, and all the way back to watch it begin. All the way back to meet you here, too.
[That puts a smile on her face. She's grateful for the opportunity.]
no subject
[ He smacks the console with his scarf in frustration. Not responding to the rest because, yes, he knows his life is incredible. No applauds needed (but greatly appreciated all the same). ]
no subject
[And wow, there's a tantrum like she's used to her Doctor having here and there. It's enough to make that smile of hers grow, and she nudges him with her hip.]
Try not to be so glum over it, though. I'm here now, aren't I? And we can go and see all that we'd like, take as long as we like, and only a few minutes will have passed back where I'm supposed to be.
[There's a pause, and she glances up at him with a skeptical look on her face.]
Shouldn't you be the one giving that speech, Doctor?
no subject
[ That's definitely teasing. ]
no subject
[She rises up on her tiptoes, leans forward, and pulls a smug look. One that quickly melts into something more curious.]
What do you think? A bit iffy on the wording, but I've got to get points for the delivery.
no subject
Nothing wrong with the wording. It was good. At least I've taught you well.
