I really didn't intend to do this yet but he gets to me

Well, it figures you couldn't resist me! I'm really not surprised, my dear. I am so incredibly charming, after all, and you've seen more than enough, don't you worry.

You're welcome.

Now let's go have a look around! Can't sit around here all day. Unless sitting means watching more of me, I could put up with that. Not yet, you say? All right-y then, I will see you later. Or you could come along, if you'll make less of a fuss that way. Stop wasting time! We've got people to meet, I hear!

[ That's a call for all of you friends who are bound to be lurking out there to come forward, for the record. ]
bossily: (this is awkward)

[She stares at him for quite a few moments, before pursing her lips together and shaking her head.]

Exciting is definitely the first word that came to mind, yeah.

[Really, terrifying was more like it. She just isn't the type to admit it out loud.]

And just checking, but did you just lock us in with the potentially violent yetis?
bossily: (actually...)

[She thinks that just a few short months ago, that smile would have frightened her. But now that she knows the Doctor well enough, she just accepts all his very disturbing little quirks. So her hands wrap around the strap of her red satchel and she turns to trail along after him.]

Probably isn't definitely.

[She would think that's stating the obvious, but you never know with the Doctor. Especially this version of him. She waits until she's in close enough, and her hand reaches up to take hold of his arm, fingers curling into the fabric of his jacket. She knows these robot yetis are right up ahead, and she's a mixture of excited and apprehensive.]

But with you, a probably is as close as I'll get to a definitely. So when I ask if, after this, we can travel to someplace with real, actual snow?

[She better get as close to a definitely as possible.]
bossily: (you're the best)

I want one that looks like it could be part of a snowglobe.

[She'll later come to realize that is probably going to come back to bite her in the ass. For now though, she keeps stuck to his side until he's led her to their stop, and it's only after taking a moment to smile up at him that she toddles off to start looking around. She's attempting to find the controls he says aren't working.]
bossily: (I believe in you)

[personal profile] bossily 2013-12-04 10:26 am (UTC)(link)
You can do that?

[She momentarily forgets about looking around, and spins about to face him.]

You can't do that. How would we even begin to fit into a snowglobe?

[Is it a taunt, or is she actually skeptical? Her tone doesn't make it very clear.]
bossily: (kanyeshrug)

[personal profile] bossily 2013-12-06 03:45 pm (UTC)(link)
So you'd actually manipulate dimensions just to take me inside a snowglobe?

[She saunters her way in close enough that she can rise up on her tiptoes and get right inside his face, the tip of her nose bumping against his.]

You really know how to sweep a girl off her feet.
bossily: (save the world again?)

[personal profile] bossily 2013-12-07 08:17 pm (UTC)(link)
[Okay, so that has her grinning in satisfaction, and she has quite the bounce to her step as she moves away from him and in closer to the yeti for an up close inspection.]

Alright then, scarf boy. Let's see the inside of a snowglobe.
bossily: (how rude)

[personal profile] bossily 2013-12-08 09:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Everyone needs a nickname.

[She frowns a little at that, shrugging.]

Just be glad you're not your older self. He's stuck with chin boy.
bossily: (hopeful)

[personal profile] bossily 2013-12-08 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry?

[She looks entirely dumbfounded, and leaves the yeti she's looking at to go stand before him again.]

You've actually never been given a proper nickname? I'll have to come up with a better one, then.

[Actually, she'll just use scarf boy interchangeably with affectionate titles such as mop head, captain expressive, and mr. adventure.]
