Do they not have many mouths? What of their claws? Are they not strong enough to rip apart frail human flesh and crush bone?

...he... is more powerful than I am. He has lived and been for countless eons and has many children and followers. For many of us our lives are subject to the whims of those that can consume us. He is one of the few that has very few that would pose a threat.

And that makes him one of the few that is dangerous to me.

I would need to consume and become more powerful. More powerful than he is. But he is very old. It would take a long time. And I always run the risk of being consumed by another.

Consume, you say? Now, is that literal in that you ingest other beings, or do you just absorb their power in a less...graphic manner?
