Currently, I am traveling with a small crew, trying to stop the Lunar Queen from gaining more power over the Earth.

That's right. [She nods]

The people of the Luna Colony are very powerful, and the queen is doing all she can to take complete control of Earth.

[ Red nods thoughtfully, folding her arms. ]

Honorable, very honorable. I hope you take her down 'cause I do not want to live in a world ruled by one obnoxious queen.

[petitrouge]

None of us do. There's a long road ahead of us, I think, but we'll do whatever we can. I've seen the damage she can do and I can't allow it to go on.

And I thought I had problems with witches and giants and all that. Magic beans. [ Her nose wrinkles. ] Messy stuff.

How did you even get into this whole thing in the first place?

My Grand-mère...

[There's a sadness in her expression as she speaks.]

She helped to save the real heir to the Lunar throne when the queen tried to kill her. I didn't know about it until recently when Grand-mère was kidnapped by the queen's thaumaturge.

[ That's a bit to take in, but Red immediately relates to that relationship with one's Granny. She frowns sympathetically with a tilt of her head. She can be sensitive, too! ]

Is she - is she gone?

[She nods sadly.]

She is. I couldn't save her in time.

[She actually smiles a bit at that, but shakes her head.]

No. I do not think it would be quite the same, but thank you.

Well, I guess you'd call it trapping. Someone's gotta defend the people if the royal family is too chicken to.

You've never heard of this incident? It's pretty big, pun intended. Beans started all of it, magic beans, thanks to this witch. Awful, dreadful woman. Beans and bean stalks and disturbing giants.

You don't mean the incident with that Jack person, do you? I've heard about it from others, but from what I understand more giants are quite civil and have been a great help.

I sure do! Jack is a friend of mine. Sorta. He's a friendly annoyance of mine. He said some things about them, like this one was very nice, but this other was not very good. Something like that.

I see. The Jack I have been told about is not very well liked, but I suppose changes like that are bound to happen with the Mundys rewriting stories all the time.

Jack, the one I know, is a big dummy but he has a good heart. Just ... don't tell 'im I said that.

Muns and Narrators - both difficult types, I think.

I don't think I've met a narrator before. They sound powerful though, if they know so much.
