You don't mean the incident with that Jack person, do you? I've heard about it from others, but from what I understand more giants are quite civil and have been a great help.

I sure do! Jack is a friend of mine. Sorta. He's a friendly annoyance of mine. He said some things about them, like this one was very nice, but this other was not very good. Something like that.

I see. The Jack I have been told about is not very well liked, but I suppose changes like that are bound to happen with the Mundys rewriting stories all the time.

Yes, I believe my mundane thought it amusing to have us meet.

Currently, I am traveling with a small crew, trying to stop the Lunar Queen from gaining more power over the Earth.

None of us do. There's a long road ahead of us, I think, but we'll do whatever we can. I've seen the damage she can do and I can't allow it to go on.

How did you even get into this whole thing in the first place?

She helped to save the real heir to the Lunar throne when the queen tried to kill her. I didn't know about it until recently when Grand-mère was kidnapped by the queen's thaumaturge.

[ That's a bit to take in, but Red immediately relates to that relationship with one's Granny. She frowns sympathetically with a tilt of her head. She can be sensitive, too! ]
