Oh, some of them will get awfully offended if you imply they all eat people, though. Xenians are an accepted part of the population. And I'd never eat anybody, personally, but I'm not one of the homicidal non-humans.

They're also fairly easily won over, at least in my experience. So that helps!

Unintentional, I assure you. I took "menagerie" more literally than I was meant. I have heard of the bestiary and will be keen to visit it, though I hardly expect to be attacked there.

The animal population and the sentient population tend to blur, so that happens.

Honestly, for as much as we speak of the dangers of Baedal, I don't find it any more dangerous than home, and I expect that's true of many people.

I don't feel that way either; the most obviously dangerous elements come from my own world, after all, and it's nothing personal, I'm sure, but rather because of my family. Nor do I plan to go anywhere near the fog.
