Probably keeps more of a wary eye on bored-Sherlock and his gun than the newspaper, which is good news because I have no idea what would even be in it. ]

[He stands lays the gun on the table then walks over to a bookshelf and gets a box. He then returns to the table. Sherlock is many things. Including OCD - not about everything, but about his gun, sure. He sits down and starts to empty the rounds and disassemble the gun for cleaning.]

What rule ever successfully prevented shootings? [ Sort of flicks a page of the paper over to the next. ] But considering it's not an active war-zone and there aren't any major criminals to run around after, I like to have a little hope in my chances.
