[Those words hit Jack, and they hit him hard. It's like the first moment Jamie saw him, there's just a rush of emotions. Happiness, shock, and the overall realization that someone out there believes in Jack Frost, can see him, who puts his faith in him. After standing motionless for what seems like ages, he finally throws his arms around Jamie again for a tight hug. This is something he's always needed.] Thank you, Jamie. Thank you so much.

[If not for him, Jack probably wouldn't be where he is today.]

[ there are times when jamie doesn't want to live a normal life, when flying around and throwing snowballs all the year around seems like it could be the perfect life. he isn't the spirit of fun and mischief though, knows it well enough, (isn't anything but a normal guy) so even if they never get more than this one lifetime to be friends it's going to have to be enough. he'll be satisfied with having jack like this. just like this.

curling around him, he runs a hand up the back of that hoodie to tuck his fingers into the nape of a cool neck, letting him have his front to hide against. jamie steals the cold spot behind an ear, blue eyes and a white smile playing behind shuttered eyelids. ]

[ in every way possible, is whispered. friends, brothers — anything else jack could imagine wanting. jamie will stand the test of time, regardless. and when he's gone and buried, he wants jack to know a heart was all his. even for a few short mortal decades.

[Jack can feel it. Not only his heart is overflowing with emotions, but his eyes are filling up with tears. Love. It's been years, decades, generations since he's heard someone say those words to him. It's like his sister is still here with him having fun with him, laughing at his jokes, wanting to be around him. It felt so comforting and reassuring, having someone like a younger sibling around. He takes in a sharp breath, then slowly lets it out. He has to calm himself down a bit here, too many emotions flying around.] I love you, too, Jamie.

[You've always done more for me than you can possibly imagine. Once he notices that they're swaying, a few laughs escape from Jack's mouth. Yeah, he definitely needed this. Wiping out a tear or two from his eyes, he just leans against Jamie and sways with him.] I'm really glad. That you were the first person to believe in me.

[ smiling as he leans back, the swaying becomes a little more pronounced. maybe they're drunk on a love boat, let's go with that. it's the Feels Cruise and everyone has left feet, toot toot! ]
