I suppose people have called me a "headcase" among other things for every time they have thanked me for saving their lives.
What can I say? I do it for the love of the job. Crazy blood mages, corrupt templars, naughty demons- what else have you got for me? A beach vacation would be nice. Maybe a demon or two so things won't get boring.

Thanks! c:

So, how do you feel about this whole 'dragged away from Kirkwall at the whim of someone or something else' deal?

If you ask me, it's not that different from my daily life in Kirkwall. [He pauses.] Except the writer of mine looks nothing like a darkspawn. I bet you had quite the kick upon learning about this thing though. [Are there manifestos pasted in every post here? Hmm...]

[Anders shakes his head at that question.] I didn't exactly spend much time here myself. I was a little more busy getting kidnapped to islands full of monsters and things.

[He blinks. Now that's a story to tell.] Oh sure, have a beach vacation without me.

[But that has it's own set of difficulties...]

[Anders shakes his head.] I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel like you have to help me or anything. You should be more worried about your own fate.

So tell me about the place you're in. An island and then a ship? [Sounds more like a vacation for Isabela.]
I am sorry, laptop problems and holidays orz
[
because it's fun, sorry Anders][He sighs at the question, already worrying about Hawke wanting to run in and try to save the day.]
It was an island first, but now it's a ship we're all trapped on. There's... monsters and things, people trying to kill us or torture us and Maker knows what else. It's not exactly much of a vacation.
It's cool! It's the same from my end. :3
...did he say that out loud? No? Good.]
It's Kirkwall on a boat then.[He's concerned, really he is.]
I wish I could do something about it [he usually can, right? The thought of not being able to has him frowning] but it's up to the writer here.

[Anders sighs.] No, you've... been here before, then left and things were complicated. To say the least. I don't think you would be able to do much if you arrived again, Garrett.
Although it's always like you to offer anyway.

Still, I don't like the thought of you going back there alone. [Wait.] You're not alone, are you?

[Anders sighs, rubbing his hand through his hair absently.]
There's Varric there too. And Carver, Fenris, and Merrill too, although I'm not certain they really want to associate with me much. And there's sort of...
[Annnnd now things get complicated.]
There's a woman here. Marian... Hawke.

He raises a brow at the mention of Marian and grins.] Ah, that "female me" I keep hearing about. I was just talking to my siblings about her. You know, my...dead sibling. [He never thought he'd be both depressed and amused by something so.]
no subject
Oh, I can't imagine that was easy. I'm sorry, Hawke. But... yes, she's apparently you, if you were... a woman. [He smiles faintly.] Never thought I'd be saying that, to be honest.
Ack. Forgot to close the bracket there.
