I suppose people have called me a "headcase" among other things for every time they have thanked me for saving their lives.

What can I say? I do it for the love of the job. Crazy blood mages, corrupt templars, naughty demons- what else have you got for me? A beach vacation would be nice. Maybe a demon or two so things won't get boring.

There's Varric there too. And Carver, Fenris, and Merrill too, although I'm not certain they really want to associate with me much. And there's sort of...

Your favorite people in the world. [At least there's Varric, yeah?

He raises a brow at the mention of Marian and grins.] Ah, that "female me" I keep hearing about. I was just talking to my siblings about her. You know, my...dead sibling. [He never thought he'd be both depressed and amused by something so.]

Varric's always been rather special to me, it's true. [Anders says with a laugh. He's surprised that Garrett's heard of Marian already, though. It both makes things easier and makes him wince sympathetically.]

Oh, I can't imagine that was easy. I'm sorry, Hawke. But... yes, she's apparently you, if you were... a woman. [He smiles faintly.] Never thought I'd be saying that, to be honest.

It's not so bad, knowing that I would still look good even if I was a woman. [It's better than no one recognizing him at all.] She doesn't have a beard though, does she?

Luckily for you, the beard is still entirely yours. I'm not certain it could ever be properly matched anyway.
