New Muse?
Yes, um, mun? ...Interesting way to address you. You might want to consider why you have a need to replace your name with a title....particularly one foreign to your cultural identity...
-Anyway. I understand that this need to control things, even control other people, is very natural, quite possibly the result of being a younger sibling or overbearing parents, however, I must ask that i be allowed to go back to my work. If you want we can set up a schedule to discuss your problems, but right now there are some people I really need to help on a case.
That and its a little unnerving how you managed to get me here in the first place....you are aware I work with the FBI, right?

Wow.
Clearly I need to re-evaluate my situation. And perhaps my sanity.

If it makes things easier, being here and under control of your mun doesn't change anything that's to happen back home. I'd worry more about the kind of mun you have, rather than what needs to be done back home.
Sorry brain fizzle there
And what do you mean, what 'kind'?
It's okay! I'm still sqeeing about a Sweets muse. xD
Ah, well... Different muns treat their 'muses,' that's us, in different ways. Some find amusement in causing the worst things to happen to the muse, or awkward event after another one. Some are lenient, and don't put too many obstacles in the way to see how you do. Then there's the ones that start by taking us from the most traumatizing moment and go from there.
[Thinking a bit more.]
Some don't so much put their muse into horrible situations, as much as they force them to be unable to help... Which could be considered as bad. It's not often we see really nice muns that usually only have the nicest of things happen, unless the person isn't used to it and overreacts and assumes it's a trick.
Just as a few examples.
=DD
Is your 'mun' like that?

OOPS wrong icon.
[yeah there's a teenage girl with puppy ears making wide eyes at you, Sweets.]

Nice costume ears, by the way.

Oh-- these? They're not a costume! [and to demonstrate, she flicks one, tilting her head with a goofy grin.]

There are those outliers where they are very cruel or even think they're being witty, though it's cruel to everyone else.
Take my 'journal' name for example. It is a pun on both how I am slowly becoming able to connect to other people as well as the children's song 'this bone connects to that bone'. My previous name was 'notsofunnybones', as a joke that I am apparently not all that humorous (which I would disagree with, I think I am very funny) and the wrongly named 'funny bone' or humerus, even though it is the ulnar nerve that we strike.
[ hi there sweets. did you miss bones? I hope you have...
and where were you about 6 months ago when we needed you? jeez. ]

What evidence do you have that suggest they see us as equals? So far from my experience we are more like toys. Chess pieces, perhaps, in a game that they control. Our realm of control has been severely limited.
I wouldn't exactly call that equal.

Well, I must factor into the equation that I, personally, have had a good 'mun'. As well as the Booth I've been 'pitted' against has one as well. She's done nothing other than mock my inability to connect to others -- but as I explained, she is simply finding herself extremely amusing.
I suppose you could say for every bad seed there is an equally good seed.

However, I would much rather be left to pursue my own work than be utilized as a distraction for my own... mun's entertainment.

It is... not something I enjoy thinking much about.
