 Yes, um, mun? ...Interesting way to address you. You might want to consider why you have a need to replace your name with a title....particularly one foreign to your cultural identity...

-Anyway. I understand that this need to control things,  even control other people, is very natural, quite possibly the result of being a younger sibling or overbearing parents, however, I must ask that i be allowed to go back to my work. If you want we can set up a schedule to discuss your problems, but right now there are some people I really need to help on a case. 

That and its a little unnerving how you managed to get me here in the first place....you are aware I work with the FBI, right?

Sort of. It depends on who you ask. I personally like to think I'm useful.

Ah, well... Different muns treat their 'muses,' that's us, in different ways. Some find amusement in causing the worst things to happen to the muse, or awkward event after another one. Some are lenient, and don't put too many obstacles in the way to see how you do. Then there's the ones that start by taking us from the most traumatizing moment and go from there.

Some don't so much put their muse into horrible situations, as much as they force them to be unable to help... Which could be considered as bad. It's not often we see really nice muns that usually only have the nicest of things happen, unless the person isn't used to it and overreacts and assumes it's a trick.

I've got to tell you, that first part doesn't sound very good. I guess none of it does, actually.

It depends, really.

To me in particular, it's pretty balanced. There's plenty of challenges with survival, seeing as I normally wasn't in a physical human form. So when it comes to the world I was sent to, it's pretty fair. She did take me from the point after a friend died and I wasn't sure if another survived a fight, however. So I didn't know that both are alive later down the line until someone from my future mentioned it.

So you don't feel potentially used or cheated? Or have you just come to accept your situation?

Of course I feel used! And trapped. Nothing can be done about it directly, however. It depends on whether you count accepting the same as deciding to make the best of how things are. I've learned a lot, made many friends and help people when they need it.

No, I think those things are very different. Accepting doesn't necessarily imply action, but deciding to make the best of something implies a pro-action which I find quite commendable given the circumstances.
