Sir Mundane, I feel I must protest. Do not be mistaken, my appetite for adventure is as large as ever, but Volstagg the Mighty cannot survive on such undertakings of glory alone. I know what must be done to survive in some of these 'games', and a meal of rat is not a meal at all.

There is still the matter of principal, however. After all, would you choose a stick of salted rat over a deer omelet?

I have not seen a game that desperate as of yet. The one I whiled away in for some time at least had proper hunting. And dinosaurs.
