He's more dangerous than you think. It doesn't matter how prepared you may think you are, if you keep him close, it will never be enough.

Because you're not being reasonable. You're judging based on what happened before. You can't see this clearly. I can. I have fresh eyes and I see it just fine.

This isn't the same old story anymore. This is a new experience that doesn't go with your old ones.

What about the "stories" of people who know the Shaw from your world then?

They knew Shaw. Then Emma effectively killed him and abandoned him in the desert. He's not Shaw anymore.

It isn't as simple as you'd like to believe.

Actually, it is. All of you are making it difficult but it's simple. Shaw's gone. Emma wiped him gone from this Earth. This isn't Shaw.

Times like this remind me of just how young you really are.

Young enough not to be so jaded and cynical.

Young enough to remain naive despite all you've already been through.
