But he's not that man anymore. He's barely a shadow of him, if even that much.

How sure are you of that? How can you know that he won't revert back to being the monster that he truly is?

Because Emma Frost doesn't half-ass anything. And you didn't see who he was over there.

It's not a waste of efforts. He's a mutant and he needs help. And I'm going to give him help.

You're relying on Emma Frost.

Because you're not being reasonable. You're judging based on what happened before. You can't see this clearly. I can. I have fresh eyes and I see it just fine.

This isn't the same old story anymore. This is a new experience that doesn't go with your old ones.

What about the "stories" of people who know the Shaw from your world then?

They knew Shaw. Then Emma effectively killed him and abandoned him in the desert. He's not Shaw anymore.
