On recent Fairy transformation in Queen of Hearts
Really? You turn me into a Pony? Not a puppy like the other mun first said, but a Pony.
Why a Pony? Just so you can use these 3 pictures you found of me as a Pony? That's a dumb reason. How am I suppose to clean the shrine and drink tea like this?!
I am curious why there are a bunch of pictures as myself and others as ponies. Is there some sort of fan following of having ponies with pictures on their butts?

If/when I make a full Pony Reimu Account, I will find 15 icons for her!
We have many, MANY, types of youkai, but most take the form of humans or children. We have fairies as well, bunch of tricksters and trouble makers.
You can do it! Pony!Reimu is epic.
I take it you haven't had the best of experiences with fairies?
I do want to, it would be quite amusing. I have no idea where she would ever go though.
If you call being annoyed by them and shooting down thousands of them so far in my life bad, then yes. Fairies are the fodder in Gensokyo. They are mostly an annoyance, though certain fairies more so then others. Cirno, Sunnymilk, Lunachild, and Sapphire are the worst.
This means there must be an MLP themed game made.
(Wacky brainstorming for a bit...but back to the conversation!)
I'm guessing those four particular fairies are stronger than normal fairies?
There was one. It was called Bridelwood, and it lasted for 2 months sadly :_(
Stronger.... Only Cirno I suppose. They were more annoying mostly.
Aww, that sucks. D: Not enough popularity?
Oh, the mischief maker types? We have a group similar to that in Ponyville; they're the Cutie Mark Crusaders and while they don't always intend to do as much damage as they do, they somehow manage.
That's part of the reason. A lot of people signed up, but never fully came. That and it launched...
I am curious how an outsiders Spell cards would work. Show me when you are finished.
These three live to prank everyone using their powers of light and sound manipulation.
Message in Post~
Sure thing. It's currently my main project, so I've been giving them a lot of thought and consideration.
Oh...the Crusaders aren't that bad. The worst they managed was starting a gossip column in their school paper that dug up dirt and said terrible things about people as high up in the social caste as Princess Celestia herself.
Re: Message in Post~
And You learned just from studying under Patchouli, or did you watch other people's spell cards?
Sounds like what the Tengu does every day.

Mostly from Patchouli. I spoke with Keine and a few others about Gensokyo and how things work in it and I have to say, I'm very much interested in it.
You have one of those every day? That must be terrible!

The Tengu owns her own newspaper, and it's fully of lies and slander.
Hmm. The best way to learn about spell cards is in an actual spell card battle. *She pulls a spell card out with her muzel, then spits it out.* This would be weird as a pony.

It must not be very popular.
(Once Twilight sees Reimu pull out a spell card...uhh...hmm...)
A-are you sure about this? I mean, sure I have a few to work with, but I don't know if I'm ready...
no subject
It's popular with some people sadly.
*Pony Reimu shrugged... can Ponies shrug?*
How much real life experience can you get from just reading books? Look at Marisa. All her Spell cards came from watching and fighting against other spell cards.
no subject
(Of course ponies can shrug. That's one of the mere minor things they can do alongside read, fly, do magic, have weddings and write about friendship every week.)
Well...okay. (Composing herself now. Focus, remember your training, the teachings and all that jazz.)
...I'm ready.
no subject
Hmmm. I suppose I'll start with this then.
*Reimu jumps into the air and flies back a bit.*

*Much easier to show a video rather then explain it by word, haha. Shame Embedding videos in DW is impossible, or I am not sure how to do it yet.*

(Twilight's somewhat gotten used to flying by now. She pulled it off slightly in canon a few times, but since she was already greatly expanding her magical capabilities, might as well learn the quintessential Touhou skill, right?
And just like her mun in his first encounter with that battle, Twilight is surprised by the
bullet vomitsudden spread. But considering the name......still, just have to graze through the storm. It totally works out with the spell card user being the attack and the other shooting as the defender, alternating roles each time, right? Because that's the notion being worked with here.)

*Reimu was Keeping it simple for now, slowly moving and firing bursts of danmaku out.*
Grazing is important, but don't forget to shoot back! Your opponent will always fire back at you.
no subject
Shooting back...right.
(Should've remembered that, Twilight. Move and shoot. Gotta do both or you won't make it. Thankfully, she's now doing both, so it's a true spell card battle! True enough, at least.
So true that she's also shooting some return-fire. It's nothing the shrine maiden of paradise can't handle, right?)

After a few minutes Reimu was hit in the in the side and she canceled the attack*
Hmm, I guess Patchouli can teach...

HOORAY SPELL CARD BONUS)She's really a wonderful teacher. I still have a lot more to learn, but she's taught me so many incredible things I didn't even know could be done.
(Because Equestria magic doesn't cover everything...)
no subject
I always thought she was too book happy. You can't learn everything from books. I learned none of my skills from books.
Alright, now, show me a spell card of yours.

(Being as much of a bookworm as Patchy, Twilight will no doubt have very similar standpoints on the matter with her.
Nonetheless, she summons up a spell card and her horn begins to glow.)
Archive Mind "Mental Dynix"
(And since the made-up spell cards don't exist yet
until SOMEONE gets off his ass and learns danmakufu, Twilight summons up several bookcase-like pillars and the book-shaped danmaku begin to alternate and fly from case to case, organizing themselves and popping back out to organize themselves again. It's a little cheesy, but it's a start!)no subject
*Reimu decided not to comment on that first thing. She never was a fan of books really. Instead she just focused on the book like danmaku. She flew around, gracefully dodging the organizing books. It was like watching a master at work. She was purposefully getting as close to the books as possible
to raise that graze bonus. She didn't start returning fire till the card was 30 second in. Her Danmaku flew at Twilight quite quickly, even homing in at her.*

(Watching Reimu graze through all of those shots with such elegance and grace...it was almost an art, really. Perhaps this was the feeling one could only feel during a spell card battle: when the participants dance between each bullet and exchange shots, patterns and dances of their own...
...but the watching would have to wait because damn, that incoming danmaku wasn't letting up, especially the homing ones. She couldn't dodge them forever, so once several of them connected, Twilight stopped her attack.)
You make it look so easy...
no subject
*Reimu landed and shook her mane slightly*
Well, I have been doing this for many years, plus I invented the system.
That spell card was a good start. I suggest adding more danmaku firing from those Book's as they fly and reorganize.
