On recent Fairy transformation in Queen of Hearts

Really? You turn me into a Pony? Not a puppy like the other mun first said, but a Pony.

Why a Pony? Just so you can use these 3 pictures you found of me as a Pony? That's a dumb reason. How am I suppose to clean the shrine and drink tea like this?!

I am curious why there are a bunch of pictures as myself and others as ponies. Is there some sort of fan following of having ponies with pictures on their butts?

(Should've remembered that, Twilight. Move and shoot. Gotta do both or you won't make it. Thankfully, she's now doing both, so it's a true spell card battle! True enough, at least.

So true that she's also shooting some return-fire. It's nothing the shrine maiden of paradise can't handle, right?)

*Reimu was surprised how skilled Twilight was for someone not from Gensokyo. This pony was good Reimu thought to her self as several shots grazed her hair and arm sleeves.

After a few minutes Reimu was hit in the in the side and she canceled the attack*

Hmm, I guess Patchouli can teach...

(She really wasn't kidding when she said magic was her special talent. That and being such a fast learner...~~HOORAY SPELL CARD BONUS~~)

She's really a wonderful teacher. I still have a lot more to learn, but she's taught me so many incredible things I didn't even know could be done.

(Because Equestria magic doesn't cover everything...)

*Reimu shrugged and looked away*

I always thought she was too book happy. You can't learn everything from books. I learned none of my skills from books.

Alright, now, show me a spell card of yours.

Not everything, but books do cover quite a lot of material.

(Being as much of a bookworm as Patchy, Twilight will no doubt have very similar standpoints on the matter with her.

Nonetheless, she summons up a spell card and her horn begins to glow.)

Archive Mind "Mental Dynix"

(And since the made-up spell cards don't exist yet ~~until SOMEONE gets off his ass and learns danmakufu~~, Twilight summons up several bookcase-like pillars and the book-shaped danmaku begin to alternate and fly from case to case, organizing themselves and popping back out to organize themselves again. It's a little cheesy, but it's a start!)

((OOC:I made the community! Equestria_Saddling. It's not nearly ready for people to use it though. GOnna work on that the next few days. Need to find someone who specializes in making custom themes.))

*Reimu decided not to comment on that first thing. She never was a fan of books really. Instead she just focused on the book like danmaku. She flew around, gracefully dodging the organizing books. It was like watching a master at work. She was purposefully getting as close to the books as possible ~~to raise that graze bonus~~.

She didn't start returning fire till the card was 30 second in. Her Danmaku flew at Twilight quite quickly, even homing in at her.*

((OOC: Epic! I have little to no skill in making themes, but if there's any way I can help, I'll definitely do it! ^^))

(Watching Reimu graze through all of those shots with such elegance and grace...it was almost an art, really. Perhaps this was the feeling one could only feel during a spell card battle: when the participants dance between each bullet and exchange shots, patterns and dances of their own...

...but the watching would have to wait because damn, that incoming danmaku wasn't letting up, especially the homing ones. She couldn't dodge them forever, so once several of them connected, Twilight stopped her attack.)

Well, I have been doing this for many years, plus I invented the system.

That spell card was a good start. I suggest adding more danmaku firing from those Book's as they fly and reorganize.

You may want to keep your current one as a low level card, and make higher level cards based off it.

Yeah, ponies have a very different naming system than humans. Our names tend to represent our special talents, personality traits or even interests.

Of course. I have two more levels of that spell card i used. I can demonstrate the highest level if you want.

So what if some one doesn't have a special ability related to their name?

I...think I have the gist of it down; I might not be able to graze through all of it.

Those cases are very far and in between, but if a pony doesn't have a name related to their ability, they just...go about life like everypony else, I assume. Not much of a difference there.

Even though danmaku can't kill, it can really hurt, so that may be a wise choice.

It's surprising that your parents know what your special ability is when you are born.

Well no one really knows what a pony's special talent will be until it happens, really. I didn't realize how much magical potential I had until I lost control of it and Princess Celestia had to intervene.

You have potential. Make sure to get lots of real life experience with spell card battles.

It's complicated...and if I may speak meta for a moment, it's because the writers planned all of it out for their convenience. They thought having names that match their owners would be a nice trait shared amongst most ponies.

How very meta. I had a feeling that was the case. No reason to blame them I suppose. I mean writers tend to give their characters names that has something to do with their personality or destiny.

I don't mind it at all; I think it's great that we get such unique names.

I don't see this as much of a downside, but apparently our naming system is too "cutesy" for most people's preferences. It's not our fault if they don't like our names; it's just a cultural difference between ponies and humans.

Unique is one way to put them.

... yeah, I can see that. I hope now that I am a Pony my name isn't something like... Miko Dancer or something.

Since your transformation is temporary, I don't think it would change at all. It might get you more attention, but your name should be fine. Then again, that could always change if alternate universes were incorporated.
