Hn. Perhaps, but both at the same time I'm not so sure about. And given Law's appearance at Marineford helping Straw Hat, I doubt they'll fight. Which is fine by me, I still want my own body back.

[He does indeed hate it. But after a thoughtful pause, Smoker grudgingly salutes back. But only because Kuzan isn't his superior officer at this point, so that makes it okay. It doesn't trash all the acts of defiance from the past, nope, it just further defines them now. Civilians can have salutes precisely because you're not supposed to, especially not in Kuzan's case probably. Yeah.]
