[Jesus was too cute. And that was a problem!]

[Maybe they should've gotten a second furry friend, because Mary already wants to take the small creature back and continue scratching behind her ears. For now, she let's JC do it, since both were rather adorable together (not that JC knew any other mode anyways).]

She slipped out sometime during the night then. At least all she did was sleep in your hair, rather than chew and eat it.

[They didn't need Miryam getting hairballs from someone else's hair.]

[Mary might catch Judas' expression softening as he watches his friend, for just a moment, then it goes back to a glare as he glances to Mary.]

She wouldn't be coming back here if she had eaten my hair.

[They're toxic to be together. He just can't understand why Jesus wants Mary around.

So he'll look back to JC.]

Remember the protest at the courts this morning.

[And he's going to head out and find breakfast rather than get his mood even more sour.]

[One thing no one had to worry about was Jesus' involvement. He blinked in confusion up at Judas and handed Mary back the kitten. He didn't like it when Judas was mad and it was so very obvious that he was mad.]

Hey Judas. Come in a moment. Let's speak.

[What's mine is yours and yours is mine...? Not his tent but hey.]

[Hey, she didn't say Judas could come in. He can just hang out at the tent flaps, okay? No, Mary would let Judas in if JC at least asked because while the other man frustrated her and didn't even want her there, she respected JC enough to not turn him away.

She takes Miryam with a slight face and sits back with her legs folded underneath her.] I hope you're not wanting us to apologize for Miryam getting out. It was obviously an accident.

[Judas would probably find a way to blame her, though.]

[He and Mary end up on the same end of the spectrum, just a million miles apart, with Jesus at the pinnacle. The perfect triangle. Judas shifts his weight before his teeth slide across part of his bottom lip to catch it, chew, before he ducks down and sits at the entrance, at least polite enough to keep his boots outside.]

Cats have their own way of getting out no matter what you do. Part of why I said I didn't think this would work. [Yet his words aren't actually venomous, more just long suffering.

But he looks to Jesus with a raised brow, wondering why the other asked him to stay.]

[Jesus had been wary for a moment at the bickering but Judas was staying and that was all that Jesus had wanted. He had no idea why the pair didn't get along. They were more alike than either knew but it was not his place at all to figure it out. And tell them.]

I'll be more careful with her. Did anyone scout it out yet, though? I don't mind the media being there but... It makes everyone so anxious.

[Why not include Mary in business matters? She's important to him!]

[Mary busies herself by cleaning up the sleeping bags in the tent, rolling hers up first, followed by JC's. There's not much in terms of possesions - all of her things are small enough to keep in the bag she keeps at her side. A few changes of clothes, makeup, little trinkets.

She slides JC's wrapped up bag to his side and finishes getting her own things together, not thinking that she's actually being included in the business talks. Judas usually makes sure they're done well away from her.]

[It isn't her business. She's been with them only a very short time, after all. They didn't discuss their plans with every follower that JC came in contact with, after all, yet there is Mary.

His eyes flicker over to her, then away.]

No one's reported anything, yet, but we've kept this one much more local.

[Jesus was really starting to dislike the factions. There was no reason for dissension, no reason for Judas and Mary not to like each other. Jesus wanted desperately for them to, though that was selfish. They were his two favorite people in the world.]

Good. I don't think Matt really has it in him to stop the constant Twitter feed but... I like the smaller groups.

[The kitten mewled for attention in the cutest of ways and Jesus gave right in.]

How about the three of is go to find breakfast?

[If only they spent enough time together, they'd like each other right?]

[When Judas glances over to her, there's a hard look but nothing more for now. It seemed they both knew better than to quarrel when JC was around.

Finished with the cleaning up, Mary takes a seat in the middle of her tent and watches both men... and then JC offers up going to breakfast. That sounded good. The last time Mary ate, when she thought about it, was sometime before she and JC when to get Miryam.]

Breakfast sounds good.

[Just deal with it, for JC's sake. For now.]

...Yeah. Breakfast. Sure. Let me get ready.

[He hauls himself up, he had come straight from waking up practically, and moves for the tent flap.]

[Someone's excited. Not Miryam, who had been dumped off on poor Peter with the promise of a McDonald's sandwich if it was in the budget or a convenience store equivalent if not. But spending time with his two favourite people? That's rare.]

How much are we allotted today?

[He's holding Mary's hand. Judas never wants to hold hands. ]

[Mary cleans up as best as she can while JC takes Miryam to Peter. Some fresher make up, a cleaner white dress. She finds JC easily after that, and together they go off to find Judas with hands interlocked.]

Where are we going for breakfast?

[Mary wants pancakes!]

[Peter might make a few noises to embarrass Simon when he receives Miryam and instantly starts crooning to her with a smile on his lips. Someone's in love.

Judas rubs the back of his neck, shifting fingers under the scarf, as he thinks.]

...Let's keep it under ten, if we can. [Mutters, knowing it would be enough if they found a decent place that served breakfast.]

[Ten for them all? Well it looked like the grocery store then for some pancake mix and some milk. Jesus didn't mind. Though he was not as stingy about money as Judas, he did understand that they traveled on a budget. Mostly because charity was Judas' one true love in life. And Jesus did love his selflessness. Most of the time. ]

There's a market a few blocks down. Maybe we can get some strawberries!

[No. Jesus should not be allowed to eat strawberries. He makes noises and is too liberal with his tongue.]

[A very tight budget it seemed. Mary wasn't in charge of the money that they used for everyone, and kept her own little bit wrapped in a cloth to keep the jingling to a minimum.]

Strawberries sound delicious.

[Mary was used to the noises that JC could make, since she wrung some of them out herself last night. Not in the way that everyone would think, of course, but it was fun to let them imagine.]

[The others grumbled and snapped that he was a tightfist on the money, but he just couldn't see a point in wasting the money that could go to people who needed it more. He had no idea that long after his death, those he had called friends and family would decide he had been stealing from them all along.]

[Jesus is ridiculous with strawberries. He's glad his tent was no where near Mary's last night or he might have done something very stupid.]

But it's summer. Perfect season for them.

[Smile Judas. The sun is out. Everything is beautiful. The night went well and the cat is perfect.]

[Mary did have to hand it to Judas for being thrifty with money. If it wasn't for him, they would probably be going hungry by now with not a piece to their names.

She smiles, gives JC's hand a squeeze before giving their arms a swing.]

It's still cool out, which makes it nice still.

[Not much of a smiler. Not when he watches Mary and Jesus together. Usurper.]

Fine. [Not going to talk about it. It would come out eventually. Just going to shove his hands into his pockets and tug out a pack, lighting up, moving behind them to keep them from the smoke at least.]

Fine never actually sounds fine, Judas.

[Guess what? They can walk faster too. They're all about the same height and they do a whole lot of walking regularly. Besides. He wants to walk with you. ]

And slow down! Mary's right. It's beautiful out. We ought to enjoy a day God made for us.

[Judas had a creepy smile sometimes, so don't worry about it JC. Mary keeps from curling her lip at the cigarettes, but its clear on her face what she thinks about them.]

A beautiful day about to be blemished with foul smoke.

[Mary can't have oil for massaging people, but Judas can spend pieces money on cigarettes? You certainly can't get those cheap or used, can you? Hypocrite.]

[Bitch don't go there. That myrrh oil you have is worth a FORTUNE. Judas will have a fit when he finds out you have it.]

[Jesus did his best not to roll his eyes as he set his hand on the back of one of Judas' elbows, just to get him to slow. He already had Mary by the hand so she wasn't going anywhere.]
