I keep thinking that, perhaps, one day I'd like to own a cat.  Something small and little that can mostly look after itself.

The road can get lonely.

And we actually have a lot of PBR boxes laying around.  According to Youtube, cats love to push themselves into boxes.

[Watch him fail so utterly at technology by bringing up the job listings and, turning it around, grinning cluelessly until it's pointed out that he's made an error. There are a few more false starts before he finds the little black kitten he means to make his.

[How is their leader so completely and utterly incompetent at anything technological? It's like JC should have been born 2000 years ago. When he finally gets it right, Judas makes a bit of a face.]

...A kitten? It's going to piss on things. It's not even old enough to know how to cat yet!

And a kitten is best. You can teach it to use a litter box that way.

What litter box?? We don't have one. It'd have to know how to go... in the dirt. Or whatever stray cats do.

She. And she can't go back. Her owner is allergic.

It can go to a shelter if it starts pissing on things.

[Jesus always does know how to hit him hardest. Judas' expression goes from shocked to hurt to pissed off in just a few seconds.]

Fine. I'm sure Mary will be glad to have you.

[Judas is just going to give Jesus a symbol from over his shoulder and while it's a kind of salute, it's the one fingered kind.]

[Judas pissed him off sometimes more than he can bear. So you know what? Fine. He goes off to move his tent and get the cat. And when he comes back later with her, he's just going to totally ignore and not at all glare at Judas over her soft black fur.]

[Easy not to glare - Judas isn't there when Jesus returns. He's out in town dealing with a new tent and supplies. When he comes back, backpack full, a few hours later, Thad ends up being the one to bring the supplies into the center of camp while Judas stays on the outskirts.

Everyone ignores them having a spat for the most part.]
