Little One. You took too long. [Xel'lotath chuckles as her other voice comes out in a chilling whisper.]
You know how we get when you make us wait.
[There's chittering, shrieking and moaning from the army of among the most grotesque creatures that defy logic, lurking in the shadows. They all are anticipating to be let loose and do their worst to any poor person that comes into their line of sight.]

[Well, at least the only headaches she will endure is one her player will allow. That knowledge is some comfort.]
While my player may have an appreciation for your presence, I, for one, do not share in this.

[Every single Horror, Zombie, Vampire, Bonethief, Lesser Guardian...even the levitating Black Guardian and Trappers are all standing at attention. (Half of them don't even have heads, and the Trappers have no eyes--but they all could still see and sense the creature, whatever she is.)]
Would your Little One Mundane like to join ours?
We would welcome the company. [Xelly is secretly wondering what your Sanity would taste like.]

I am Yg'baladoth, the Lingering Murmur. [She added a bow. Civility costs nothing, after all.]
And as for your invitation, my player permits me to tell you that any invitations will need to be respectfully declined. My player does know of you, after all.
For the moment, I shall keep the both of you company.

A shame about your player, yet we are curious to know more about you.
[Silently, Xel'lotath sends the mental command to stand down. They're free to go terrorize someone else, actually! By all means, she encourages that.]
We are called Xel'lotath.

My domain in the chaos of sound. I was born when Xul’gaborah, the Queen of Screams, was destroyed by The Eye of Fate's Wheel.
[She stopped there, looking at the great mighty one before her. If those words meant anything to Xel'lotath, then she would respond knowingly. Or not. Great Old Ones are never known for their consistency.]

Did he truly believe his arrow would harm her?
"We're amused of how boldly you decide to challenge us," Xel'lotath spoke, lacking a mouth, yet still her voice could be heard. Her magic was very strange and complicated for the minds of Little Ones to understand.
All her creatures, the entire army of them, were all facing his direction.
"He wishes to play. To the death," mused her second voice.
"Would he be able to hold his own against all our creations?," Xel'lotath asked her whispery voice.
"Let's find out."

One of Malcolm's names is an apt one. He has always been as crafty as Gabriel and then some, though his brother would actually call him suicidal. He tilts his head and grins. "Bring it on kiddos," he says calmly, "I've taken down humans who are scary then you." He spreads his arms. "First shot is free."
You might want to check Xelly's journal entry sometime. Lists of spells and rune chart are posted.
"Such a fool," Xel'lotath amused in her first voice. "Very well then."
"Enjoy..."
There had to be at least a hundred of these creatures, all heading for the archer who showed no fear. The Vampires cloaked themselves. The Bonethieves were sprinting directly towards Malcolm as the zombies were shambling forward, mewling in hunger to taste his flesh. The Gate Guardians went in the same pace as them. The Horrors bellowed in eagerness and stomped at an even slower pace, causing the ground to tremor with each step they made.
The Lesser Guardians became flying green orbs and began scattered. The big Black Guardian mean levitated and waited patiently until it was its turn to deal with Malcolm--if he managed to kill the rest. It knew his arrows would not be able to harm it.
Last but certainly not least, the Trappers just crab-walked around at their own pace. They'd chitter in alarm and flash colors on their oddly pigmented green skin before aiming any of their scorpion-like tails at Malcolm to send him to the Trapper Dimension.

A child we are not, yet you are the first to address us as such.
We have been around for a very, very long time.
Since around the time Man first came into existence...

[Amused, the mother all dark things is amused.]

We sense that you are not quite Human, yet, you appear as one.
Were you of their kind first? Our most loyal, Pious, was once a man.
Also, must we add, we are not quite from the same universe as them. [Smiling with just her eye, for she doesn't have a mouth.]

Xel'lotath.

Sephiroth.
Interesting seeing you here...
[She sents the silent command for all her creations to leave them be.]
no subject
[He continued to stare at her. It was just casual conversation, nothing else. No threats.]
no subject
Oh, there are plenty of Little Ones around...
But we have something else to discuss.
When was the last you saw of Xargin? We haven't seen him around at all.
[Xargin is a powerful and very interesting Little One. Both Xel'lotath and Pious are still interested on joining them in making the other Little Ones quiver in madness, corruption, and terror.]
no subject
No, it's because-]
...That is an extremely large eye you have, madam.
[Despite being the size of a human (admittedly a tall one), Asura radiates an enormous and seemingly endless wavelength of madness from his body, big enough to engulf a planet and he can feel she happens to be on par in that regard, his large collection of eyes not for show.]
no subject
Another adversary? (She knows the one, Vertigo, wouldn't like competition, none at all.)]
Why, thank you for noticing. [She chuckles once more, before her other voice whispers.]
Curious. What are you, exactly? Another deity?
We're able to sense a massive amount of manic energy from you.
[Already, she's sending the silent command to creations to leave, go forth, and seek out other Little Ones to play with. ...By the way, you cannot have her eye. She needs it. It's a very vital part of her enormous eely body.]
no subject
Doesn't really help.]
Permit a full introduction. I am the fear you fear when you fear fear itself, the mirror that the world is reflected within, the one that releases the world's true self.
[A wall of blackness forms behind him, thousand of white eyes opening as they flow around like leaves in an unseen river.]
I am the Demon God of Madness, Kishin Asura.
[He stares dramatically for a second, his own odd set up of eyes flashing red.
And then he ruins it because he's a dork.]
...It's a very nice eye, by the way.
{He can't get over the eye.
He likes eyes.]

In turn, for putting on such an introduction (and a very flashy one at that), it's only fair she gives herself a full introduction, both her voices taking turns to speak. Often she talks to her whispery voice and it responds; hello dissociative identity disorder.
With that deep emerald green eye, Xel'lotath smiles with it. She cannot only speak without a mouth, but fly without wings. But that of course doesn't seem to bother him at all, she assesses.]
I am an Ancient Goddess of Madness, Dweller of the Darkness that is Eternal.
We orginated from a veil beyond reality, in a dimension that bends logic and order every which way.
Now, we reside well within another world with a similar environment, and more. Filled with various Little Ones from their own realms.
We are Xel'lotath.
A pleasure to meet you.
Yes... Have you been collecting eyes for very long? [It's so clear that he's very fond of hers.]

[ As someone whose eaten the sun god, you'd think she'd have something more clever to say. As it were, her cleverness of lines range from "I'm going to destroy the entire world!!" to "I'm hungry". Anyway, she passes a glance at those other creatures. ] Otherwise they might trip on something in the shadows. [ Nodnod A+ logic. ]
no subject
They see just fine.
Would you like to see?
[She's smirking with that really large eye. In sending the telepathic command, one of her Bonethieves for example steps out to where it can be seen better. It does not trip. In fact, it can see fine without a head. The floating spinning glowing orbs where it should be are its eyes.]
no subject
Now, being from Hell herself, this isn't the first time she's encountered creatures that "see" without eyes or heads. Still, ] Even now I never get how they can do that--!
[ Black feathers ruffle. ]
no subject
Xel'lotath chuckles at the bird woman freaking out.]
Not your first time seeing a Bonethief?
How interesting. We've never seen anything like her before.
[Wondering how her sanity would taste, right about now. As Xelly's creation begins to step closer towards her, it is probably pondering about clawing its way inside that body and claiming her as a host... Uh oh.
All this chit chat with creatures of darkness can only go on and on, and now she's starting to think of tormenting the poor creature.]
