All considered, I doubt I will be needed much in the week of my absence. There are many disadvantages to being uninvolved in school activities-- if you could call it that, but I suppose that I would not be particularly sought after is a bit of a silver lining in this situation.

Do try to remedy it once we return from this month's hiatus, though. The thought of staying idle doesn't sit well with me.
