Look, mun, you have to believe me. I LOVED the movie, really! It was fine.

I'm just saying, maybe we deserve our own little movie, too. Think about it! Starlord. Starwind. We both bop around space on a ship full of crazy jerks. We both look incredible and have the most amazing knack for escaping death. We both tend to have women who have tried to kill us in various awful ways. We're pretty much the same guy.

...What? The series? Yeah, that was fine, but it was YEARS ago, and it didn't have an audience. Did you see the ratings in Japan? This is our big chance to get known by a new audience! Plus that other "Star" series is gonna' come out eventually. It's the age of good space adventures, again!

Yeah, yeah, I get it. You've got a pretty nasty head-cold and it's hard to write an application.

Know what my bad days were like on Sentinel III? A hell of a lot worse than a runny nose and a headache, I'll tell you that much. So quit your bellyaching already and get to it. Show a little drive, man!

Besides, it's obvious those guys are in dire need of a real bad-ass to come along and save the day. Luckily, I happen to be an expert in that field. I'll have that nasty giant problem wrapped up inside of a year.

Alright, alright. A man knows when to eat his words.

Maybe things didn't go as smoothly upon arrival as I thought they would. I mean, come on. Nobody expects a giant squid monster to wreck your shit. All things considered, I'd say I've actually managed to do pretty well for myself.

Let's tally it up, shall we?

1. I've got a crew-member I can rely on. Kinda'. Aisha's flighty, but she comes through in the clutch.

2. I've got my ship here, even if it can't move or use weapons. Minor setback. No problem.

3. There are incredibly hot women ALL OVER the place. I don't mean, "last call at the bar" hot, I mean absolute perfect tens. Top shelf, all the way.

Granted, I'm not exactly crazy about job-hunting. I'm a jack-of-all-trades, I'll find a way to get by.
