Suddenly, there are the cards in both hands, fanned out once more with their blue backs to you. ]

Hey now, don't get distracted, mun! You've gotta be even more attentive than I am if you're going to be playing me, the one and only Kaitou Kid!

[ He folds the cards in, making them disappear with another turn of his hands. He reaches forward and plucks a card out of your pocket and grins. The Jack of diamonds, you see. ]

Despite what you Might think I don't actually need Hattori here. He's loud, hot-blooded and knowing that idiot he'll get himself killed on the first day. And he'll probably just annoy Holmes.

He's safer in Osaka and besides, it might break his heart to be away from his beloved city for that long.

Why is everyone so baffled by how he survived? There are a number of ways off the top of a high building and most them don't actually involve death. I've done it a couple of times.
