Huh? The Great and Powerful Trixie demands what it is you choose to babble about!

[Though some small part of her is thinking about the question. Sure, she would love to perform at The Grand Galloping Gala. It would definitely make her all the more famous and closer to her goal of fame forever. Unforgettable fame, even well after she's dead.

Trixie's had no former rival, or rival to begin with, but if she hypothetically did, she know it would be all the more special to visit the ill. Plus it's a very good thing to repair broken bridges. But the problem is... if she visits the ill friend, her popularity would go down due to a no-show. If she does the show, those people could possibly hate her forever despite her charisma, and thus lose potential fans. For the end result of this decision, there is no clear fin-win or lose-lose. That's what would make this decision so hard.

...So it's probably a good thing there's good in her buried deep, deep down enough to favor visiting the ill girl.]

[That actually stings a little bit. Trixie flinches a little, but quickly recovers, pointing a demanding hoof at Judgement Boy.]

The Great and Powerful Trixie demands an answer! Just what exactly are you talking about and why you wish to ignore those that address you! Do you not understand how to hold a conversation? 'Tis a huge folly to unanswer anypony!

But... each option both had pros and cons! Trixie demands to know how she could have immediately chose one! ...Trixie didn't even choose any option!

[She thinks she didn't, but her heart did. It's what happens when being logical.]

[...Well, if you want to play it that way...]

...Trixie cannot hope to point out a flaw in your hypothetical situation. She could have very well been mislead in her decision, and circumstances may very well push her to believe it is the work of competition, other showmares, attempting to sabotage her performance! You had never even clarified that the proof of illness was definite!

[Again, Trixie's talking with logic.]
