[Never mind that, had Gaz actually faced that situation, her choice would have been quite the opposite. Of course her game was incredibly important to her - but frustratingly absent as Membrane often was, she respected her dad and never interfered with his projects. Ever. She'd beat a charging cable out of Zim first, and would really only get Dib in trouble if he deserved it. Which... okay, Dib having done something to make her swear vengeance was pretty frequent and likely, but still.]

[Though some small part of her is thinking about the question. Sure, she would love to perform at The Grand Galloping Gala. It would definitely make her all the more famous and closer to her goal of fame forever. Unforgettable fame, even well after she's dead.

Trixie's had no former rival, or rival to begin with, but if she hypothetically did, she know it would be all the more special to visit the ill. Plus it's a very good thing to repair broken bridges. But the problem is... if she visits the ill friend, her popularity would go down due to a no-show. If she does the show, those people could possibly hate her forever despite her charisma, and thus lose potential fans. For the end result of this decision, there is no clear fin-win or lose-lose. That's what would make this decision so hard.

...So it's probably a good thing there's good in her buried deep, deep down enough to favor visiting the ill girl.]

[It wouldn't be the first time he's asked that either. Judgement Boy simply chuckles and without a moments delay the heart drops and shatters to the ground.]

[She's still as kindly as she was before, but that just makes it worse. A horrible reminder of his failure, the sacrifices they made, the sacrifices he made, all in vain.
