[Wow, and what a pep talk that is too. Chow's not really brimming with self esteem, but...you certainly know how to give it.]

Y-You really think so? I...I guess there's something to be said for her carrying me all the way to now.

[His diamond wings flick, a little excited at just thinking about it. His trainer...thought he was special?]

[His head lowers down a little, humbled by what's been said. Maybe...maybe things wouldn't be so bad! If there's a Frontier, he'd love to show his stuff, and who knows? Maybe there'll be some new teammates.]

W-What about your trainer? Is he set to take you to the new game?

Like he'd go anywhere without me. Even leaving out my sparkling personality, he's too sentimental to leave me behind.

[She kids, but you can tell by the faint hint of nostalgic warmth that there's a deeper connection than just sentimentality.]

He's been my trainer for 9 years now, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

W-Well I can't lie on the sparkling p-personality part. You've got something I think your trainer finds valuable.

[He lowers his head, resting it on the ground next to her.]

Nine years...I'm almost at seven myself. At least...from my recreation.

If we're counting recreations, then I've been around for 13 years. God, I feel old.

[That's still amazing to think about. He's almost had that long of a journey, but it's still impressive.]

[She seems proud of it, and why shouldn't she be? Most pokemon don't even get moved over from game to game, and here she is, 13 years and 4 generations later.]

Silver, Crystal, FireRed, Emerald, Diamond, Platinum, Black, SoulSilver, Black 2 ... It's been one hell of a ride.

N-Never made it to FireRed or LeafGreen...but I was in Ruby and Sapphire!

I wonder what the new region's gonna be like. My mun's been avoiding spoilers about the story and the map, so going in blind here.

Me too...going to a new place is so exciting...U-Unova was really amazing, wasn't it? It was so far from Hoenn...but unique!

My mun hasn't seen many spoilers for the story either. I-I think people are good at keeping that part under wraps.
