I understand my role in any team I wish to be a part of. But that does not mean I can be referred to as a "whipping boy." Nor is it "meat shield." It is, in fact, much worse than the former in my honest opinion.

I also must express my uneasiness for Thancred. I believe I speak for the adventurers he... stalks, for lack of better word. For the time being, I am quite uncertain whether or not I shall be a part of their Scions of Seventh Dawn.

Lastly... As much as Ul'Dah is my home, I've also grown to enjoy my time in Limsa Lominsa.

[ An amused hum escaped the young scholar as he eyed Garrett. One would suppose that mismatched eyes isn't so much of a recessive trait in Eorzea like he previously thought. Nevertheless, Elarian doesn't have the time to consider such frivolities.

If this fellow is to become a proper Scion of the Seventh Dawn, he'll need someone to guide him. ]

Also, Eros, my small friend, knows many spells.

Words cannot express how invaluable healing mages are. I'm quite certain that your talents are sought after quite often.

How true. I don't know many adventurers who can last long without a proficient healer.
