Madam.

Things must be done decently and in order. You're barely pulling weight with that other fellow. A voice as intrinsic as mine requires much more bearing and presence then what is in your capacities. The mere thought of you playing me is a step below what is grotesque.

Dreams also hold no form of lasting stimulation and are better when rid of. Let us not dally with this decision.

[Blah blah, who cares what Holmes is saying.]

Hello, handsome.
technetronic: (forget allergies)

[personal profile] technetronic 2012-03-02 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
Nice accent you've got going over there. [He actually takes his sunglasses off to look the other over better.]
technetronic: (swallow sadness)

Goatee, and it is pretty good if I do say so myself. [Self-indulgent stroking of his chin is a go!]

But just got to say my handsome doppelganger, why do you have a biographer and not me? [PEPPER, HE WANTS A BIOGRAPHER NOW. AN OFFICIAL ONE, NOT ONE OF THOSE UNOFFICIAL BIOGRAPHERS WHO WRITE CRAP STUFF ABOUT HIM.]
technetronic: (lead a workshop)

[personal profile] technetronic 2012-03-02 08:23 am (UTC)(link)
JARVIS could probably write it.

[He pulls out his phone and taps out a memo into it before moving on to checking with other little bits he's working on. He doesn't even look up while he continues to talk.]

Right, like a PA then. They're good to have around except for when they insist on regular eating and sleeping habits.
madcuriosity: (Oh what is this?)

EEEE <3 I love this version of Sherlock <3

[personal profile] madcuriosity 2012-03-02 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
You don't believe in what dreams tell you, sir?
madcuriosity: (Contemplating Poison)

[personal profile] madcuriosity 2012-03-02 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
Why is it insulting? And if dreams had no place in our lives, we wouldn't have them.

Seems a common theme with this lot-- dreams.
easierdonethansaid: (On the right hand)

[personal profile] easierdonethansaid 2012-03-02 05:50 am (UTC)(link)
Mine isn't looking at that one. One she's waitin' for word on still 'as to do with dreams, though.

Some little town in Montana. Why she wants to drag me there? Beyond me. France? Germany? Excellent. Culture and arms.

But America.

Her taste is question at best.
easierdonethansaid: (The impossible shots)

[personal profile] easierdonethansaid 2012-03-03 08:07 pm (UTC)(link)
[This is the one good thing he can say about the place:]

Not only arms, but arms over two hundred years newer than even my rifle.
notquiteheartless: (A thousand pieces of information)

Narcotics. For a dreamless sleep.

Or, if it's more to you liking-- stimulants so sleep is unnecessary.
notquiteheartless: (Default)

[personal profile] notquiteheartless 2012-03-02 08:00 am (UTC)(link)
That depends entirely upon the need.

One reaches a certain point where sleep is a biological imperative, and then even the strongest of stimulants can't quite clear the head. Until that point? I prefer the stimulants.
notquiteheartless: (Three patch problem)

[personal profile] notquiteheartless 2012-03-02 08:10 am (UTC)(link)
Nearly.

The most potent I've found is prescription-grade cocaine. Suppresses the appetite, negates the need to sleep, and will usually let me keep working for at least a week, if I have the supplies of it I need.

Haven't done that in quite awhile, though.
notquiteheartless: (Sometimes smiles)

I CAN THINK OF TWO PEOPLE WHO WOULD OBJECT.

[personal profile] notquiteheartless 2012-03-02 08:28 am (UTC)(link)
I think that, if I were to take your suggestion, I would be another body in the morgue-- I'm quite certain my flatmate would kill me.
notquiteheartless: (Examine closely)

IMAGINING WHAT THE DOCTOR WOULD DO TO US IS LESS SHINY AND TEMPTING.

[personal profile] notquiteheartless 2012-03-02 08:43 am (UTC)(link)
He's not quite clever enough to cover it up well. Clever enough to try, but in doing so, he'd only make himself more obvious.

I'm quite sure that if he were to kill me, it would be obvious from the moment he decided to do so.
notquiteheartless: (Default)

[personal profile] notquiteheartless 2012-03-03 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Best ones are where they look obvious, but then there's that one detail that doesn't fit and that brings everything into a new perspective.

To your question-- My flatmate has very patiently taken away all of the stimulants and narcotics I've attempted to bring into the house. He's learned where I hide them and what quantities indicate that there are more stashed throughout the flat. Bringing more in might provoke him for the final time.

Yet for all our complaints and hopes that they will see through to the heart of the matter and refrain from grotesqueries, it seems that they do so often tend to go astray in that regard. No doubt it is born of that which they are.
letxequalnull: (*pontificates*)

[personal profile] letxequalnull 2012-03-02 08:05 am (UTC)(link)
I have not suffered unduly at her hands, if that is your meaning. As to stress... perhaps it shall suffice to say that ruling as I do is no easy task; I have little need of further troubles. But surely you can understand something of that latter idea, if nothing else.
letxequalnull: (just a smile)

[personal profile] letxequalnull 2012-03-04 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
I have observed the complaints brought here for quite some time. The pattern is quite obvious.
fairytalevillain: (He himself even played a role)

[personal profile] fairytalevillain 2012-03-02 07:09 am (UTC)(link)
There mere thought of anybody dealing with you on a twenty-four hour basis is a step below what is grotesque, if you ask me. I mean, you do get kind of boring, dull, you're ordinary... And you just can't seem to keep your mouth shut. I feel sorry for the player, I do, I really do.

[A pause]

Yet, I wonder if you're as much of a bother as the Sherlock that I know... I mean, anybody with that name can't be too far removed from the others.

[A small grin]

The name's Jim.
fairytalevillain: (All for that one special person)

[personal profile] fairytalevillain 2012-03-03 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, that's where you're wrong! Every Jim is not Jim Moriarty. I've been informed I'm not the only one, tragic, but I'm sure the other versions of myself are just as... [He licks his lips, searching for a word] sexy.

I was speaking specifically of the ordinary Sherlock Holmes, you see. It's cute, you're cute, awfully cute.
johnwatsonblog: (Did I mention we're also flatmates?)

[personal profile] johnwatsonblog 2012-03-02 10:51 am (UTC)(link)
You're every bit as charming as the Sherlock I know.

[That is not a compliment.]

There's no need to dismiss the player so quickly, is there? Give her a chance, she could surprise you yet.
johnwatsonblog: (Just how crazy it all is)

[personal profile] johnwatsonblog 2012-03-03 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Most people don't compliment him for pointing out their shortcomings. Something tells me they're not too fond of you doing it, either.
