If it's true love, then I think it'd be better to be with it than without it. [ sincerity, hope, and wishful thinking all manifested into a rather wistful tone. ] Because it's the stuff that can save heroes from death, right? Even if it seems hopeless and they're battered and bruised and lying on the ground, they can think, "no, I can't die because my beloved is waiting for me!"

One not entirely clear to him, because of his inability to understand a pang in him, a foreign and always brief emotion, that mostly leaves him with an inexplicable desire to shake Kurosaki, if not outright strike him.
