Mmmm, well, I can't complain about the donuts around here! Really appreciate the change of scenery, so here's hoping we can keep ourselves out of trouble for a little while, okay?

[He pauses with one stuffed in his mouth and holds out a box, smiling.]

Mun promised all the donuts I could eat. You can have some if you want.

Oh thanks! [Tentivley takes a donut from Vash's box and puts it to her mouth.]

I always forget how good these things are.

[She's quite pretty, but he's not looking to pester anyone today. It's his first outing here after all, though it certainly hasn't stopped him in the past.]

Heh, enjoy! I used to get them in every town I visited, but I could get used to this. [He's about to scarf another when he pauses.]

Is it hard to find donuts where you're from?

Well yeah, They're not really what you'd call a delicacy where I live but if you venture out and around other places you can sometimes find them.

My uncle's kind of against me eating junk food though.

"It's not something a Goldenscale would eat" apparently.

[A petite, obviously damaged and neglected little automaton nearby smiles at his cheerful disposition. (And at her mundane's joyful reaction to the sight of him, as well.)

She seems curious about the donuts. She doesn't have a sense of taste, so food is a weird thing to her. She approaches him shyly, her motions stiff; when she speaks, her voice is very soft, and edged with the fuzz of an old phonograph's sound.]

Are they good? ... the donuts...

[Vash gives the automaton a wary glance at first, it's nothing personal, he's just had bad experiences in the past.]

Uh, yeah. [He forces a smile, she's not attacking so he should give her a chance. He holds one out to her.]

These ones are glazed so they're really sweet, and still warm.

[harpstrings]

I... I can't. But, thank you.

[donutsforlife]

Oh. Sorry. [His smile falls and even the donut seems to wilt with it.]

[Did somebody say... free food?]

[There's an ominous guitar note and a dark feeling in the wind.]

[...a challenger appears.]

[Vash perks up at that tone, looking around with a donut half way to his mouth. He stares dumbly a moment, and then goes right into his best disarming routine.]

Hello! [He waves with the donut.]

Are those for everyone?

[Duel of the banjos, anyone?]

Maybe. [He teases.] Would you like one?

[He holds one out, trying to start things off pleasantly.]

Want some sprinkles for the dounuts? Then they'll be extra-tasty!

[Producing a jar of star-shaped rainbow sprinkles with a big smile.]

Huh? Oh, thank you but I prefer sprinkles on my ice cream.

[He stuffs another donut in his face and holds out the box, speaking around the food.]

But you're welcome to a donut if you want some.

Oh thank you! [She shouldn't be eating them, she can't even taste them...

But try telling her that and see if it stops her from taking a donut and taking a bid ol' bit.]

[He has no idea, and he'd never stop someone from enjoying a donut, even if they can't taste it. Unless, of course, they've already had one and aren't sharing with him.]

Trouble seems to follow you around, no matter where you go.

Amelia? [His grin widens and he doesn't just offer her one donut, but his whole bag. It really can't be helped, she's incredible, not to mention pretty, and it always feels like forever between times he gets to see familiar faces.]

[It's the principle of the thing that Vash tries to keep away the donuts, especially if it is from himself. Of course, in a game of Vash versus Vash, it only ends in a stalemate with both of them holding the box as he tries to talk around the donut already in his mouth.]

Hey! Get your own! [The fact that it's his double takes a moment to register.]

[This Vash has been around the Dear_Mun block for some time now. He's not phased anymore seeing another him. Although one way to tell this Vash apart is that he has a nice little set of white and red colored feather wings on his back.]

But my mun won't let me have any! She doesn't like donuts! Now what kind of mess up thinking is that! Besides! [He shoves another donut into his mouth.] These are super tasty! [And a couple more are shoved into his mouth.] Danke, danke!

[It's this Vash's first time at the rodeo, so the poor guy is a little unsure how to handle this one just yet. Except the donuts. He doesn't try to take them away now, that would be downright mean, but he does make certain he shoves one in his mouth before talking.]

No donuts? That's so sad! [He starts to cry theatrically, but pulls out another for himself since the other him seems to be helping himself.]
