Exactly. Maybe give the kid some money for a hotel room, but I wouldn't bring home a stray now, especially not one that'd remind me so much of Al. That'd just be stupid.

Of course it's a thing on TV Tropes. I mean, you, HG, Mrs. F and your boss all fit it, and three out of four of those are full-on canon.
