Yeah, no.
Granted, the kid's one smooth operator, I'll give him that. But I wouldn't bring home a stray now, never mind whenever we get anywhere close to... whatever happens instead of that. Seriously, Weird AU Me, what were you thinking? Even if I had spent time on the streets, which I haven't, I would... I dunno, believe my best friend when he tells me someone's a lying liar who lies?
[Yes, from her perspective, canon is now the Weird AU. She's had this backstory for three and a half years and it ain't changing now.]
The part with the pirate hoard looked fun, though (hey, people writing this weird AU, imagine how useful HG would've been on that case). Keep the hell out of that. And sometime I'll have to steal Pete's 3 AM sandwich; it is written.
...Just remember, if you bronze me I'll fry your balls off.

Also, Helena's side-eying Wooley dying of pirates.
And you might have to fight me for stealing Pete's 3AM sandwich.

Yeah, I wouldn't shrug Steve off that easily. And I know what a con sounds like thanks to Al. And I know what 'older than they look' looks like from more than TV Tropes. So basically, there's no way I'd get played by a 500-year-old 15-year-old.
Not that I'm sure I like what they have in mind for us instead, but on the other hand I get to be a self-rescuing princess, which is always a step up from a statue.

And frankly, I just don't see you being conned that easily. It's just not that easy to ingratiate someone with you. You don't open up that much that easily. ... I didn't know that was a thing on TV Tropes. Clearly I need to ... keep avoiding it.
I really don't like it, but I can somewhat see or understand it. Personal growth and all that.

Of course it's a thing on TV Tropes. I mean, you, HG, Mrs. F and your boss all fit it, and three out of four of those are full-on canon.
That plan does make more sense than this bullshit. I mean, really.

... true. I fit it less than Helena or Mrs. F, but still. Twelve years is still twelve years, I guess.
I do not get this bullshit. I really really don't.

It's a better trope than you being the Damsel in Distress again, you gotta admit. Which is also the case in the not-this-stuff plot.
I demand an explanation for this bullshit, frankly.

Either Damsel in Distress of Schrodinger's Brother. Not a fan of that one either.
I'm a bit worried about how they're going to explain it anyway. Especially if that one casting thing is right.

You're not Schrodinger's Brother. I know right where you are!
Don't speculate about casting things, brother dear. It'll only give you a headache.
