Oh, so we might get another 'me'? An....'AU'? I know you were hoping that Gothel might app but this is still something right? It should be....interesting. A me if I wasn't brought up by Gothel.

....No, mun. Wanting Mother Gothel just to see Merlin and Eugene freak out isn't a good reason. Well, maybe to you, but I don't want them worrying like that!

She might not show up, but it's...a possibility. I've been at the Garden a few months now. [But she still isn't sure on confronting Gothel. Especially when it seemed she was easily overpowered by the older woman back home.]

At least you mostly know what to expect from her if she does show up.

[She's not really staring anymore but, now she's wondering if she can ask about the hair without being rude or seeming too random.]

I guess that's true. If she shows up and I try to talk to her about....everything. [Because part of her does feel the need to try and talk about it all. Rapunzel runs her hand through her hair absently as she considers it.]

You should be alright. I've heard having good friends can make just about anything easier to deal with.

Oh. Well,.....my hair is kind of long for a reason. When I sing, it can heal. Or keep people young.

I'm familiar with some healing powers but, the power to keep people young... [She may have figured out why someone would want to use Rapunzel.]

Do a lot of people know about it? [She's really curious because she's used to having everyone around her know about her powers.]

Not really. In the Garden a few people do, since I help at the infirmary and all. Back home it was just Mother and Eugene who knew about my hair.

Oh... I guess that might make it easier. I'm used to everyone knowing what I am. But at least they go to mom if they actually want help with something. Just rather ask someone with experience I guess.

So, everyone knew about you and your magic? [This is amazing. If only Merlin could live there.]

Just about everyone in the town I live next to does anyway. It's kinda hard to hide it since mom causes some weird stuff when she tries experimental spells. Not everywhere in my world is accepting of magic though.

I see. It must be wonderful to not have to hide it.

Yeah. I grew up in a less accepting place 'cause that's where mom met my dad so, the change was nice. Once I figured out that most people here wouldn't give me dirty looks if they found out what I was anyway. It can still be hard to talk about sometimes though.

Hm. It still seems better than home or Merlin's Camelot.

Are those places not good for people who know magic?

In Camelot, magic is a crime. People are killed for practicing it.

Oh... That must be a hard place to live. I wonder if they even have a good reason for it.
