We've fought cowboys. And dinosaurs. And robots. I'm not sure it was cool, though, it was kind of sad.

Yeah, I can see that. Our wild west mission was one of the good ones. We saved everyone, I got to make friends with an eight-year-old Mr. Howlett, and Dazzler gave her first ever jury-rigged electric ukulele solo. Good day.

I can't wait until we start having the cool missions. Well. Or any missions. Right now we just do training exercises and get randomly attacked.

Well, I kinda wanted to wind up at the school if I ever get a shot at retiring, so, uh, cool missions can get kinda wearing. They don't usually go that well.

Training exercises and random attacks don't seem to go so well either. The school does seem a bit safer, though.

Besides, I love my team and all, but I'm the youngest by at least ten years. It might be fun to go to a school where the preferred sport isn't knocking the Waggoner kid down the stairs on the way to gym.

Well, I'm a little harder to trip now that I can teleport, but I'm still thinking an all-mutant school would be nice.

It is nice. The jerks don't go away, but I do like it here. Even if the food is bad, and the school keeps attacking us, and it's built on a sometimes-angry mutant--

Professor Drake makes snowcones sometimes at least. And we haven't had to kill our own dinosaurs for sustenance in a while.

I guess you could? Real New York pizza is about how you make it, not what you put on it. I had pineapple pizza one time and by the time it was cooked you almost couldn't taste it. You need the right oven, mostly, and a few core ingredients. I'm kinda a purist, though. Rather have pepperoni than, like, feta cheese and fresh organic broccoli and Chinese truffles like you'll see some places.

I'd like to try broccoli and truffle pizza. Just no pineapple. But pepperoni'll always be the best.

We always get a bunch of different kinds, though. We've got a lot of big eaters.

Teenagers are always big eaters, right? I have a bad tendency to elongate so I can fit more pizza in.

Uh, probably. I spent most of my time since I was twelve inside a creepy machine. But probably!

Oh yes, I was raised in a machine. It wasn't creepy, though. It was Kansas.

The problem is that it's awhile before you can shrink down again, and you hit your head on doorways.
