Voice testing. For the given sense of voice testing, that is.
[Don't mind Sandy. He's just going to float in the air, napping quietly.
Until his mun gives him a nice metaphysical tap on the arm.
He shakes himself awake, then blinks sleepily, glancing around the new place. Huh. He didn't think his mun would actually try playing him, but okay. It's flattering that she wants to try, although it would have been nice if she had dropped him off somewhere near his friends. Speaking of...
Pictures made of golden sand start flickering over his head. An Easter Egg. A tooth. A Christmas tree. A snowflake. All of them are followed by a question mark while he floats around the area, searching for the other guardians. Or anyone at all, really. Despite not speaking, Sandy likes meeting new people.]

[ It's been a while, bro, been a while. Don't mind Jack beaming widely as he shoots over. ]
Just got here, huh? Man, I haven't seen you in ages.
no subject
At first he beams, just to make sure that Jack knows that yes, he's happy to see you too big guy, but then his face falls and the dream sand above his head forms a calender that is rapidly flipping through months, followed by a question mark.
How long has he been missing? More to the point, how long have you been here?]
no subject
I got thrown into a city on Christmas Day, so ... Uh, yeah. Been around a while. Pitch too, we've been there together for a long time.
no subject
Sandy immediately frowns, then looks closer at Jack, as if he can pick apart anything Pitch might have done to him since Christmas. Or anyone, really. This one doesn't need a picture, mostly because the Sandman is very, very expressive.
He's worried. He's worried that Pitch might have attacked Jack, or maybe someone else. Without Sandy around, it's really hard to actually combat nightmares.]

It's so good to see you, I'm going to ignore the fact you left me for last. [Kidding, kidding.]

Luckily, Sandy really doesn't mind. The more the merrier, up until one of them tries setting a greyhound on the Easter Bunny again.
He rolls his eyes and smiles fondly. He loves you too, Jack. Then the dream sand above his head starts flicking through the symbols of the other Guardians again, followed by the question mark.
Does Jack have any idea where everyone else is?]
no subject
There used to be a bunch of us around here, but you don't see them as much nowadays. It's mostly me and my army of clones. Tooth, North and Bunny visited my game recently, so it was something. [He nudges Sandy.] I wish I had had the full team though.
[That translates to "I miss you buddy".]
no subject
Sandy smiles warmly and nudges Jack back. Well, he's here now, and he's glad that the rest of the Guardians are somewhere, even if they're a little scarce. He's not happy that Jack, the one who needs company the most out of them, is stuck without his new family, but he's going to keep his feelings about that under wraps for now while he tries to figure out how he might be able to help. (Sorry, Jack. Upon your Guardian initiation, you consented to being secretly fussed over by Sandy. It was somewhere in the fine print.)
Although... army of clones? How many of you are there? To ask, the dream sand forms one snowflake, followed by two snowflakes, followed by three, followed by four, on and on while next to a question mark.]

Is that a PSI ability?
[Threat analysis doesn't bring anything up - apparently it throws off his PSI sensors. It's definitely nothing he's seen before, which means he needs to find out whether it's going to be a problem for Master Porky.]

Sandy cocks his head curiously, not entirely sure how to interact with himself, but he still gives a friendly wave and a smile before conjuring a big question mark.
Are you really him? How long have you been here? Are there more Sandys? Basically, all the traditional questions one might think he would be asking, so he feels a question mark is best to sum it up.]
no subject
Several months, it seems.
Then the images above his head changes to figures that looked like them; more Sandys that he'd seen, both regular and alternate versions of himself. It's always a little strange...but kind of fun.
Then he points to the other, a question mark of his own forming beside what looked like a chess board. Perhaps wondering about a game...]
no subject
Looking at the chess board, he's in the mood for an actual game of chess. But! But, first, answer question.
He frowns and puts his hand on his chin, then the symbols of the different Guardians appear over his head. His mun is considering going to some game, but he personally would prefer to go somewhere where at least one other Guardian was. His mun still doesn't have a particular place in mind, so he's not sure what's going to happen with that.
But! There are more important things to do. He lets a chessboard materialize between them and smiles. Feeling up for an actual game, other him?]

He watches the quick flashes of sand with a mark of curiosity. He perks up a little at the last one. He's pretty sure he's seen a few of those around...even one in his own mun's headspace. That guy is popular...probably because he's so full of energy or something.
Which is shame really, Perry likes Santa a lot more, but he's a big fan of all the Christmas characters so that goes without saying.]
no subject
Is that a technicolor platypus?
Sandy floats closer to said platypus, cocking his head curiously and making his dream sand form a big question mark above his head.]
no subject
Perry's not really sure how he's supposed to answer since he can't really talk. He makes his trademark chattering noise. This could mean anything from "Hello" to "My name is Perry" to who even knows.]

Sandman.

Hello there, Mother Nature.
Sandy waves at her, giving a friendly smile, but he's secretly a little tense. Mother Nature has always been a little too unpredictable for him to be relaxed. His dream sand forms a question mark above his head.
Hello there, Mother Nature. Can he help you?]

Maybe you could have done him a favor and just stayed out of his post, how's that? (Comebacks are hard when you don't talk...)]

You expected me to ignore my version of Jack up there, spewing his usual deluded notions of my "rehabilitation"?
