[this human is very big, but she seems to have a way with animals (also, she has read every book ever, and is wondering why he seems... familiar somehow). She gently puts a fresh daikon radish on a plate on the floor, pushes it toward him, and then sits back, intent on showing she means no harm]

[Is that some kind of white carrot? He is hungry though, but this wouldn't be the first time a trap has been laid out with the promise of food. Ever cautious Benjamin inches bit by bit to the Radish shaking like a leaf, ready to run away if she decides she's hungry for rabbit.]

Take it easy, ankle biter. [Bunny crouched, giving the kit a gentle smile - rabbit to rabbit.] There might be dangers 'round here, but you'll find caretakers, too.

If they try, they sure won't succeed. Those drongos won't know what they're comin' up against. [He reached out, lightly tapping a finger against the kit's nose.] Don't go givin' up hope.

[A smile crosses his face along with a chuckle. He feels safer now, like there's really nothing to be afraid of.]

I won't. M-my names Benjamin by the way, Benjamin Bunny.

Well, Benjamin, s'nice to meet ya. I'm the Easter Bunny. Y'can call me Aster. [Offering a paw, Aster smiled, ears standing confidently tall.]
