You just can't give that up, can you? You even went as far as to change my user name.
Just because I happen to share a few interests with Holmes and perhaps one or two character traits does not make me related to him. Don't get me wrong-I'm thrilled to get to be associated with the legendary detective in any way but this isn't exactly what I had in mind. I want to be just like Sherlock Holmes, not be his son.
And before you say anything, there's nothing wrong with a parents I have now. ...Although, I guess it would be pretty cool to be Holmes' kid.

[ Because since she thought he hadn't had it figured out, obviously he had to prove her wrong. ]

And yet you're doing exactly as I expected. Does that say more about your 'advantage' or mine?

Just because I've played one card, doesn't mean I've played them all.
[ Except that he kind of has-or any card he could play. ]

Tsk tsk, dear. You're sounding as defensive as he is. It gives you away. That you don't actually have any cards left at all.

[ Though in this case, yeah. Out of options. ]
no subject
[A laugh.] But I suppose I can't fault you for it. He never learned when to quit either.
